Visiting Central Florida Beef was an experience beyond compare. From the moment we arrived, the prime corner location set the stage for what was to be an extraordinary visit.
The shop's interior greeted my wife and I with its professionalism, immaculate organization, and spotless cleanliness. However, it wasn't just the environment that impressed us; the warmth and kindness of everyone there, from the staff to the guests, truly stood out. This remarkable ambiance is a direct reflection of not only Dave (the owner) but also his wife, his close friends, and all the dedicated workers at the shop. Their collective spirit and ethos are palpable, making it clear that Dave's qualities as a great human being, a loving husband and father, and a true patriot and veteran, are shared values among everyone involved in Central Florida Beef.
Our visit culminated in bringing home three tomahawk steaks, along with a selection of spices and sauces that promised and delivered culinary delight. The steak we prepared was nothing short of sensational; even the fat tasted like butter, showcasing the unparalleled quality of their offerings. Having known Dave during our previous tenure in the armed services, I approached this experience ready to be unbiased, but the excellence of the product left no room for critique. It prompted an immediate message to Dave, congratulating him, his family, and his team on a well-deserved success.
Central Florida Beef has not only won our hearts with its sublime offerings but has also earned a steadfast meat subscription from us. Central Florida Beef, under the stewardship of Dave, his family, and friends, offers not just top-notch beef but also a welcoming and friendly shopping experience that is rare to find. If excellence in product and experience is what you seek, Central Florida Beef is the destination.
Highly recommended!

Read moreI guess I will be the odd one out when it comes to reviews. I will say that the people were friendly and great about answering questions and telling us about how they raised their cows which we are all for. The prices for most of the cuts were also below grocery store.
Unfortunately the meat itself did not live up to our expectations. We got sausages that we grilled and while the taste was good enough, they were so dry and tough that I would liken it to eating an overly-dehydrated Slim Jim that was as thick as a hot dog.
We got a brisket that had too much of the fat cap removed and there was little to no marbling. Even after smoking it all day, we still had to cut the meat into small bite sized pieces or else you'd spend forever chewing it small enough to swallow. Only the fatty end pieces were tender.
We got a roast that was also smoked all day and while it was better than the brisket it was still lacking marbling and was not even close to the fall-off-the-bone tenderness we are used to when smoking meat.
If it is feasible for the business, I think it would be beneficial to display the meat for the customer to choose their own package with the fat content they want, rather than just being given a wrapped up packages that someone else picked for you and...
Read moreI was never a big meat eater but went Carnivore 10 months ago. I only eat ground beef and I shop at Whole Foods and they carry local beef from a cattle ranch in south Florida. The meat was good but they didn't always have it and the other meat they sold didn't compare . I've been looking for a local business that sold Florida beef. There are Florida Cattle ranchers that sell beef online but you have to buy decent amount and I don't have a freezer to support a lot of meat.Supporting local farmers is very important to me. It had been a few months since I searched online and then on Friday while searching again, I found this wonderful shop, that's so cute, it use to be an old gas station. They had a little shop inside as well with local artisans goodies and a outside market.Needless to say I was thrilled. I went in on Saturday and everyone there was super nice and helpful. I bought 6 lbs of ground beef and cooked some up the next day and wow, this beef is really delicious. I like to eat a little ground beef raw with salt and I've done that since I'm a kid and this beef is superior. The cost is only 1.00 more then I was paying at Whole Foods and the drive there which is 30 minutes is quiet lovely. Needless to say they'll be...
