Florida Cracker Tap Room and Bourbon Bar — Restaurant in Brooksville

We LOVE THIS WONDERFUL AND RUSTIC RESTAURANT!!! I had one of my best ever dining experiences here at this funky country restaurant! We were in Brooksville for the Blueberry Festival and read about this restaurant being popular and highly rated. From the pictures, I could see this was my type of place!! The place was super busy, and a very long wait flew by as we grabbed a brew at the Tap Room and sat on the patio chatting while reviewing the menu 😀 Everything looked great 👍. We also looked quickly in the gift shop as well. Our server was fantastic!! Recommended a couple of items not to pass on as well. The manager also came by to check on us several times! The food was priced really well, and the food knocked our socks off 😋 👌!! The catfish, the cheese grits, the GREENS, the burger 🍔, everything was hot and delicious. I always have a wonderful experience at Florida Cracker Kitchen! The food is amazing, especially the grits and the homemade biscuits and gravy. The grits are creamy and flavorful, and the biscuits and gravy are rich and hearty. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they gave me great recommendations for what to order. The beverage selection next door is great, too! They have a variety of drinks to choose from, including craft beers and cocktails. I always enjoy browsing the merch store and hanging out at the tap room while I wait for my table. The merch store had some cute and quirky items. The wait IS worth it, but be prepared to wait a bit. This place is definitely a hot spot and I so understand why now. The late night pizza is not just any pizza. It’s packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. I highly recommend the “Ginnie Spring” cocktail as well. Not only does it look beautiful but it’s refreshing and that honey sugar rim is the perfect touch. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is they aren’t really able to accommodate the crowd they’ve drawn in. We went on a Saturday night and had to wait for someone to get up so we can get some stools for our table. About an hour later and people were trying not to push past each other walking through.
