I love this place! Fortunately I live in Bushnell which is not far away and it's a beautiful drive to get there. We try to go once a week or so for several reasons: 1) It's a locally owned business with great owners which we supported through the covid issue, 2) the food is delicious and homemade, 3) the atmosphere is hometown awesome, 4) the servers are all cute, 4) they have col stuff in the store, 5) their cocktails are all great. We can't wait to try the pizza and hopefully get to the New Year's bash if they have it again this year. Due to it's location you get more local people than snowbirds which is nice. Don't get me wrong, they still show up as I would if I were them, but it's not as bad as the pocket areas where they gather. Because it's popular, plan to wait if you go on a Saturday or Sunday. They are very good at clearing tables and turning them around for the next guests. Check out their YouTube Channel as well. We always take friends and family visiting from out of town here. Great job Blair and the crew! UPDATE 03/2022: One thing that changed is the quality of the t-shirts in the store. Two years ago (or so) I bought the below pictured shirt. It was heavy cotton, nice quality with their logo on the bottom. It is still nice. Now the shirts are super thin poor quality for the same $30 price. I mean the Haines shirts at Walmart are better quality. Definitely a BIG step backward by whoever is doing the purchasing there. They are so thin and cheap I would buy one at $20. Hopefully they re-evaluate that because their shirt are unique and I liked them before. UPDATE: 02/2023: Still my favorite place to eat! Even in snowbird season when it's packed, the staff is always super nice and the food is great! Regarding the t-shirt issue, I had the hem pull out of the bottom the first time I wore it. I took it back and they exchanged without question. Plus, they got some new hats that are cool. The best part I like about here is a large part of the crowd are locals like me, even in the...

We visited our parent in Inverness, FL last week and was brought to here for brunch by a friend. We got here around 11am on Sunday, it had been a long line already. They close at 2:30pm so everyone crashed in for breakfast and brunch.

It's not much fun for a long wait even they had a bar and retail next door, but still took us around an hour to be seated. Obviously their space isn't big enough to digest a load of customers.

Anyway other than that, I should give full credit to their foods and services. We ordered

Florida Cowboy Classic ( Corned Beef Hash ) ~They are right, this's the best corned beef hash I have ever had, big pieces of meat, seasoning well. Normally people makes it so salty, but not here. They had onions inside the hash, make sure everyone eats it in your party. Big portion and love how they fried the potato. MUST TRY Maxican Omelette ~ Big Portion again, lot of ingratiates inside the egg. It's perfect with salsa and sour cream. Chicken and Waffles ~ My friend ordered this, he said the chicken was so so, but the waffles is good, crispy outside and soft inside.

You can choose what type of breads to go with your set, please please please choose their homemade biscuit, they were fluffy and soft, served warmly. The server even offered gravy to go with it. Love the gravy, balance flavor with right texture. Oh Yes, love they put the milk always on the table for coffee and tea.

Love our server, very helpful and friendly. Always brought us what we need. Hope the place could be bigger and the wait...

My family of 9 in all visited the weekend of 6/26/2021. Upon arrival at the restaurant we found we had at least an hour wait. I decided that to try one of their Bloody Mary’s served in the Bar. I’ll tell you I’ve had Bloody Mary’s from Key West to New York, and hands down these folks make the best Bloody Mary I’ve ever had. They were so good that I bought two bottles of the spicy mix to take home, and yes I had two drinks to test if the flavor was a fluke, it wasn’t , the second one was just as good.. After being seated and tended to by some of the nicest people anywhere, the food matched everything else, and everyone of my family members said their meal was excellent. After arriving home I realized that the other flavor of Bloody Mary mix, Horseradish, was the kicker, so I ordered four bottles, via online, of the horseradish mix to go with the two spicy ones I already had. Upon the shipment’s arrival, I wasn’t home to receive it, but when I arrived home I noticed the box was leaking, and found three of the four bottles were completely lost. I contacted the Cracker Kitchen via email, and explained the problem. The only response I received, the following day, was that my order had shipped with UPS. Not only did they replace the lost bottles, they gave me the entire order as I’d previously ordered. In closing, the best food, best service, nicest people to be found anywhere. I’m going to be making detours from my regular route, to Monticello, just to stop here. Thanks for the great dining, and...

Although there were several people waiting for a table when we arrived, the wait was short. The girls working here are very focused and turn tables quickly. I felt a little rushed. The girl wiping down the table beside us was working so quickly that a home fry flew over and landed near my plate. When we first sat down a cinnamon roll was suggested. We split the roll because it was rather large. It was probably one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. However, I would suggest holding off and eating this as a dessert because it is sweet and I found that I was not able to eat most of the omelette I had ordered. The omelette was good. The home fries took on the appearance of a baked potato that had been cut up and fried. If one does not like the skin of a baked potato I would steer away from ordering these. They were on the dry side. My husband had the shrimp omelet and did not enjoy it. Overall atmosphere was good. The service was attentive and quick. I think I would have to visit again to give a adequate review on the food. They only take cash so make sure you've got money on hand. The space next door where one can wait in air conditioning has a great atmosphere just an update********** we returned in May this year and had great food, great service. My brother got the corned beef hash for breakfast and said it was amazing, the best he has ever had I had something similar to a MonteCristo. The bread was very fluffy and custardy..wonderful!!!!
