I'll start with a disclaimer: My 2 stars is relative to the area of Southern California and directed towards visitors.
Knott's Berry Farm, while perfect for kids under 10 is a bit of a disappointment for adults. My wife & I came here after a day at Universal Studios and two days at Disney and would have rather spent the Knott's day at Disney instead.
-The workers did not want to be there and treated us as such. There wasn't a magical "what can I do to make your day special " glow about them. The majority of them sat around talking to each other and even had conversations about the guests in front of them. They were not professionally trained.
-This might be weird but the urinals were WAY too low and didn't have any walls between them (see picture) causing awkwardness and revealing way too much.
-The rides felt rickety and old which to be honest was terrifying at times.
Bottom line: If you have kids 10 and under this is a great place with lots to do, especially Camp Snoopy. If you are any other demographic, just spend the extra money...
Read moreI went with a group of friends for one of their birthdays the last week of February before the pandemic was official and things started officially closing. We got there around 10:30am and though we thought we wouldn’t be able to get on all the rides we were actually able to get on all the fast ones! Last time I was here was more than 10 years ago and it’s incredible to think that the same fun and exciting atmosphere still exists in this affordable amusement park! It was warm out when we went but we were able to get on some of the water soaking rides to cool down. Though I was skeptical about the new ride, I tried it out and it was really exhilarating and enlivening! The funnel cakes are the best here, had a whole one for myself ;) Highly recommend for birthdays, it’s...
Read moreI don't understand these parks. There is nothing fun about waiting in hour long lines sweating to death breathing in fumes and other people's breath. The park is dirty because they can't keep up with the crazy amounts of people here. It's just not fun for anyone. Waste of time and money. Go for a bike ride or for a hike or to the beach. Can't parks put a cap on the amount of people that enter? Especially when there's schools and groups that come. There's got to be a better way! This place is a zoo. Even with an app telling you how long lines are- it's not ever accurate. I feel like a trapped animal in some of these lines. The jaguar cave is torture with no exit once you've entered the building, I left feeling sick to my stomach and a headache from...
