ALDI — Attraction in Burlington

I have always enjoyed shopping here. Ever since they remodeled and made it bigger, I've enjoyed it even more. Don't let my 4/5 star rating fool you, I rarely give 5 stars. They are pretty close to a 5, if I could I'd give them a 4.5 out of 5 star rating. They don't give them a 5 star due to, they have a hard time keeping things in stock because of people constantly buying them out. They don't have enough product storage, and also Corporate does not let every store have exactly the same product. So some other stores carry things that this store doesn't. When it comes to standing behind the product that they sell Aldi's by far outdoes almost everybody else in town. I've had issues at our local Walmart and corporate could care less when I email them, I've had issues with product at Aldi's and corporate is immediately emailing me back to try to resolve the problem, so I've had very little issues at all at our Burlington Iowa store. Placed an Aldi order to be delivered, a large order .. brought it in the house as soon as it was delivered.. right a way I thought there’s no way this is my whole order there aren’t enough sacks, turns out 10+ items are missing, I wrote the person that filled the order on the Instacart app and the reply was “ all your items were scanned in”.. absolutely no help at all, I reported it on the app and got a refund for all the missing items but I’m so disappointed.. I needed those missing items.. and now I don’t trust to get another delivery from Aldi .. so just a warning to be sure and check your orders and make sure you are getting everything...

I really like Aldi. I like the produce, dairy, meat and snacks. Not a big fan of their pasta products and some of their frozen treats, like the pizza but overall I really like Aldi. I shop weekly there. Most of their prices are cheaper than the other stores. The employees are friendly and helpful. Just don't forget to bring a quarter in you need a shopping cart. It's refunded if you return the cart but you will need one at the beginning of your shopping spree. They have bags to purchase but I usually take bags with me. They don't bag your groceries. I'm ok with that. I save money each trip...
