Date of Visit: 6/30/19 around 4:30PM - Arrived at this location for the sole purpose of picking up my check for my consigned items. Was in and out of the store in approx 3-4 minutes, having changed my last name on my account (due to a legal name change) and they also cut me the check. Quick & easy process.
Date of Visit: 10/23/2018 - I like this location a LOT more than the Eden Prairie location for the ease of consigning. This location was friendly, helpful, talkative, and they actually had SMILES ON THEIR FACES. They explained the process thoroughly for me. They informed me of new changes to the consignment policy. This location also accepts a lot more variety of brands - in Eden Prairie, I was only able to get them to take Chico's clothing and Silver Jeans. In Burnsville, they took Apple Bottom Jeans, Lane Bryant, and some Vintage style clothing that had all been rejected at EP. Walking around the store while waiting for my items to be accepted or rejected, I noticed Target, Old Navy, Wal-Mart brands as well as your Coach, Silver Jeans, Torrid, Banana Republic, etc. As a shopper, it seems like a lot of the clothing is overpriced (still WAY cheaper than buying it brand new, but not as cheap as I want my second-hand clothing to be). As a seller, this will be my Go-To location for consigning my clothing...
Read moreThe store is big and has a lot of stuff..apparently too much stuff! I went in to retrieve the remaining wallets I had there on consignment and was told they "lost" one of the Coach wristlets they were supposed to have under lock and key in the case. To add insult to injury, after they searched for about 20 minutes, I was told that you "do consignment at your own risk". Fine and well, but you'd think when you lose someone's property - designer name property - you'd make some sort of effort to reconcile the issue with the patron selling goods in your store. An in-store credit perhaps?? Partial payment to cover the loss of item/sale?? Something to recognize that what happened shouldn't have happened and that you care enough to make it better....not the case! Bottom line, despite their buffet of stuff, it would seem maybe they have a little too much inventory to keep proper track of. Needless to say, I will NOT be shopping or selling there again. NOTE TO THE STORE: When you mess up, own it and make it right. Work on your...
Read moreI love turnstyle in Eden Prairie, MN.. The Mgr. "GARDEN " is great to work with and does great sales& finding great furniture to sell in their consignment shop. Try them out. I give them a 10 out of 10. I want to mention turnstyle in Burnsville as well they have many items to choose from but, are slightly different than Eden Prairie , because Eden Prairie has its furniture in one store and the clothing in a separate store in the same shopping center. Which makes it easier to shop for the items you are looking for that day. So go shop them both and you decide Where you like to shop or feel comfortable at. Have fun...
