SkaterApolis — Attraction in Burnsville

Owner Mark. Very unprofessional and apprehensive.

As someone who advocates in the skate and BMX heavily community for years across from Germany and the US. I can soley say that Mark was very unfriendly and unprofessional from my first impression walking in. I simply wanted to know the rates of the park and $15 is a bit too high for the square footage. Marks reply was very unprofessional and could have worded tactfully. This was simply my opinion granted most outdoor skateparks are free (burnsville) and even thirdlairs rates arent as high for more square footage. He then proceeded to ask if I even ride vert which was a judgment to my skills or intentions. Very unprofessional and childish. My intentions were to simply check it out considering the Burnsville mall is already dying. I wanted to support this park cause I think the idea is great and I always try to advocate for more skateparks across the world, however the owners apprehensive attitude towards me from my first impression makes this difficult to do going foward.

I get business is hard especially in a mall expected to be demolished, but don't bite the hand that feeds your income. If you feel as though the rates are fair please advocate appropriate reasoning and justify it accordingly.. "with insurance" is not a feasible justification alone.

We had such an amazing experience at Skaterapolis! My 3-year-old daughter has only been skating for two days, but she has already learned so much, and her confidence has skyrocketed! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by both the community and the owners. They have been incredibly kind, patient, and encouraging,

Beyond the welcoming atmosphere and great instruction, we also think Skaterapolis is a fantastic value. The experience and the community make it more than worth it. Mark and Raha have been amazing to work with and it’s clear they truly care about every skater who walks through their doors-even the tiny ones!

We had my son’s birthday party here and it was absolutely fantastic! The owners were so accommodating and kind, they truly went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of the day was a fun time for the kids. All of the kids had a blast, and the parents were impressed too. And can I just say, watching their kids skateboard was friggen awesome! You can tell the owners genuinely care about their community and the families who come through. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back.
