I’ve always enjoyed going to this TJ max since it’s connected to home goods but today I went to do a return on a gift the jeans didn’t fit my mom so we just wanted to exchange and the manager or whatever she is Gordana Blonde lady she was very very disrespectful becuase she couldn’t find the tag but I ended up finding it in the pocket and she said the clothes was worn I said no my mom tried it on well did she wear it Gordana asks again I said she wore it to just try it on that was all She continues to says there is a difference between worn and trying on I said exactly she just tried them on! And she says Okay okay exchange then whatever and then wipes her hands with Clorox wipes like we were infected!! It always feels dirty and disorganized at this location and it never fails that I run into at least one if not more, of the rudest staff members in the city. I've been barged out of the way, no apologies, they never are friendly, and I was once accused of stealing an item because I bought it at a different tj maxx location, returned it at this location and the numbers on the receipt and tag were off by one number. This was in front of a whole group of customers, and by a manager no less. I promptly took the item back to the original tj max, explained what happened and they said they catalogue differently than the other location and that's why there was an issue. Management definitely sucks and may be racist… got a watch for Christmas and was told by a Tj maxx employee at a different location that I would be able to exchange it for a different style watch no problem and suggested I go to the Burnsville location because they have more of a variety of watches than the Eagan location mine was purchased at. Drove all the way from St. Paul to Burnsville only to be denied the exchange because I didn’t have a receipt because it was Christmas gift. Tj maxx return policy online even states that’s you can make exchanges or get store credit if you don’t have a receipt. Clearly leaving me with only one reason why I wasn’t allowed this service, my skin color. Definitely won’t be going...
