Good location, excellent theatre design, with fully reclining chairs. However, they have a minimal staff they have on hand. They tend to be polite, well groomed, but.... they're not so interested in doing any real janitorial tasks.
That gets this place a very generous rating of 2/5.
REASONING: This theater is not serviced well! There's always debris still left from previous showings all over the showing area.
Even the garbage cans are heavingly overflowing with old trash.
And for those awesomely designed recliner seats they have... Well, they're in massive decae! The material covering them are extremely worn with notable tears and holes that can scrape or even cut your skin.
These seats look like they've been sat in by every person on the West Coast of California.
And, with all that being said, we were not too confident in how sanitary these seats actually were either.
You'd think after having just went through a global pandemic that cleanliness and hygiene would be one of their top priorities, NOT!
I highly suggest that you bring your own Clorox wipes and clean off the seats you plan on sitting in!
Its high time for the owners of this location to update their standards & cleanliness policies.
And maybe higher a facilities manager with a sense of pride in presentation and standards for their employees work effort's.
Big brand named theaters have no problem demanding high priced tickets from us, their patrons.
Well, NEWS FLASH to these big theater owners and your currently employed management staff...
Us, your patrons, aka "the consumers" also have demands.
We require a decent level of quality of service.
And that especially warrants us having a sanitary environment to spend lengthy periods of time at either by ourselves and especially with our loved ones.
OUR demands for exceptional service had better be recognized as an industry STANDARD!
When it comes to the health and safety of where we take our families or in choosing where to spend our hard earned dollars, KNOW THIS, these attributes are of the the utmost importance. Ones of which we, your consumer hold tobe uncompromisable!!!!!
So, at your next staff meeting remind yourself and yout team that there are many other options for us to choose from to view your films.
Food for thought...
That is if you wish to stay...
Read moreI visited this place on National Cinema Day and it was disappointing. Despite buying my ticket in advance, there was a mix-up with the assigned seats when I arrived at the auditorium. We compared tickets and realized that we had the same seat in the same auditorium, but for different movies. This confusion seemed to be happening to other customers as well.
The staff was trying to figure out what had happened, and eventually, it became clear that the movies had been switched, causing the ticket mix-up. Unfortunately, by the time the issue was resolved, the movie had already started.
Because of the inconvenience, I approached Josh, the manager, hoping he would want to make this right. However, his response dismissive. He offered a refund or a different movie as alternatives but this did nothing to address the time and money wasted by everyone involved. His solution was to waste more of my time by having to wait another three hours for the next showing? Tell me how that makes sense.
What bothered me the most was his dismissive attitude towards the situation. He claimed that since the ticket price was only four dollars, there was no need to make amends for their mistake. This response was not only insulting but also demeaning, especially considering that I have been coming here since I was a kid.
While I understand that errors can occur, it is disheartening to witness Josh shirk responsibility and neglect to provide satisfactory customer service. It would’ve made a world of difference if he had made a genuine effort to compensate customers for the inconvenience caused, even with a simple gesture like offering free popcorn or a future movie pass. Regardless of the ticket price, the fact remains that they wasted everyone's time and money, and that’s what Josh...
Read moreOverall very disappointing. My first and probably last time at Edwards Regal Camarillo. Brought my kids to the premier of Minecraft the movie. The front staff were welcoming. However when the previews started showing there was no audio for majority of them. Not until someone walked out to let the staff know. When the Minecraft movie did start the high wall lights were still on which was so annoying. During the movie I stepped out to purchase more ICEE slushy but I was told they were all down because they needed to make more. Remind you our movie was 4pm and there was not a crowd so how are they out already. Lastly when the movie finished, everyone departed the theater in the dark. I’m assuming operator was too occupied to turn on the lights smh. Not really ideal safe especially walking kids down from the top rows. Y’all just need to do better!
** NOTE for first timers…..plan accordingly because main rest rooms are upstairs with only one unisex rest room downstairs. All auditoriums are...
