Maybe I'm wrong, and I hope I am, but when I was paying for my purchase, the cashier asked for my ID as well and said it was policy. I didn't think anything of it and handed it off. Bought a few candles. I was waiting for my friends who hadn't paid and were still perusing. I noticed no one else was "carded" when they made credit card purchases. This was probably a case of classism. I have to dress up to the 9s for work and I like to be super casual on days off if I'm just walking around and shopping, but that cashier totally judged my look and really made my shopping experience suck.
