Joe Escobar Diamonds — Attraction in Campbell

My engagement and wedding rings were purchased from Joe Escobar Diamonds on a recommendation from a friend in 2003. Unfortunately, I lost my engagement ring a few years ago. I knew that when I was ready to replace it, I was going back to JED. Having moved out of state and luckily having Family in California, I have had some opportunities to visit the good West. Chasing to the point, my last visit to JED was back in November, during Thanksgiving. I had placed my order to replace my engagement ring. Originally, JP patiently assisted me in making the decision that had been the right one for me. So patient and providing different options. Then, realizing that more personal attention had been needed, Matt Escobar stepped in. To the very end, Matt, committed to ensuring that I was taken care of. He sent multiple pictures/videos to keep me in the loop in the process of creating my ring. I received my rings today, Fedex, one day delivery! He didn’t make me wait. I was awe struck at just how beautiful my engagement ring sat in the box. Not to mention, my original wedding ring looked brand new! Time was taken to ensure both rings sparkled! Be very cautious when bringing in jewelry purchased elsewhere.

We worked with Kassie Mora while looking for a wedding band to match my engagement ring. I found a style I liked and placed an order. During the process, she took my engagement ring for over 15 minutes to count the diamonds so the new band could be matched. When she returned the ring, I immediately noticed one of the diamonds on my band was loose, with a blue mark where she had been poking. When I asked, she casually explained that it happened while she was counting and suggested I “take it back to the jeweler to close it.” This was alarming, since the ring had just been purchased and was in perfect condition beforehand.

I took the ring to a master jeweler, who confirmed it had been tampered with. At that point I wanted to cancel my order, but due to time constraints we proceeded. Unfortunately, when we picked up our wedding bands, the diamonds on the band didn’t line up with my engagement ring. They had to make adjustments just days before our ceremony.
