DO NOT BUY THEIR WARRANTY! We bought a dishwasher from them along with their warranty service which they sold saying that this was the best investment we would make on such an expensive unit. Fast forward...the dishwasher leaked and damaged our kitchen floor and basement. We filed a repair request with their customer service. Never received an email acknowledging the same nor a phone call. After 48 hours of waiting when we call, we get to know that someone has put a work order for us. They do not tell you the next steps, after further enquiry, we get to know that it was forwarded to Platinum Service (do not recommend that either). After 10 days of waiting a technician drops by and says that they'll have to order a new part and he is not sure when we'll be getting that. We got frustrated and post a review on Google. Someone by the name Rob calls us and says that our review is misleading and quotes his own example of how he had to wait for 6 weeks to get his refrigerator repaired and we waiting for 10 days is nothing. So here are some clarifications: It is not "just 10 days", after several calls and a trip to the dealer, we learnt that the technician will be coming on 23rd, which is 26 days from the date we filed the complaint. We have our floor damaged which the other team has removed the floors and left the floor board and that has splinters. We get splinters when we walk on floor (including kids). Can't cover as it has to dry. Because the floor might not match (as the house is 20 years old) we have to change quite a bit of floor area for this reason. Rob says that they have nothing to do how Platinum Service works and if we have to wait we have to wait. Platinum says they don't know how ABC functions and says the dealer should have explained to us. ABC Warehouse in Canton, do not stand by what they sell. Worse thing, Rob has the audacity to yell at us for leaving the review. When we were at the store, we were helped by another gentleman who tried to draw "Rob's attention", but he just ignored and walked away. Why call us now and tell how we should live with their bad service. THIS IS NOT OUR OPINION, BUT...
Read moreThe staff including sales people (Leon) were very good and I highly recommend them. On the other hand the delivery service is very very unprofessional and sub-par. They delivered my expensive (Sterns&Foster) spring mattress and decided they needed to fold in/half and then in-half again using three ratcheted straps to bring up the stairs. Upon bringing into the house they realized folding was not necessary and unfolded and it. They took it upstairs and unwrapped it noticing yellow oil stains on the back surface. I informed them I would not accept it. They didn’t even have the common sense or courtesy to remove their shoes to carry it in . I had to tell them to remove their shoes. They were in a hurry and left, they said the store would get back to me on the next step. Several days later they returned and went up the stairs to get the stained mattress and didn’t remove shoes or put on covers, the carpet was stain in several place, we had words. They brought the stained mattress down and set aside. They brought the new mattress inside and set it aside. Took the old stained mattress to their truck and said they would be right back to carry the new mattress upstairs. Well, they just left and never came back in the house. I called them and left a message they never replied. I immediately called the sales person who told me they talk to the delivery people and that they informed me they could not carry it up the stairs because the mattress was too cold and they would be back the next day to carry up. Total BS after they carried the stained mattress out they just left, never mentioned anything they told the store. If this was the first time I had horrible service from ABC’s choice of delivery company I wouldn’t commented but having purchased over $50,000 worth of ABC stuffed over 15 years, Only twice has delivery gone as expected from reputable company. BTW, I called Sterns & Foster about folding expensive spring mattress’s, they said they never recommend it, as it will damage the springs and you may not notice it...
Read moreMy recent visit to ABC Warehouse on Ford Rd in Canton left much to be desired. I have done business with the Brighton location previously and had a great experience so I thought I’d return to the company for a second round of purchases this time at the Canton store. I arrived with cash in hand, eager to purchase bedroom furniture, only to encounter a lackluster experience. Upon entering, a sales representative with slicked-back hair briefly acknowledged my presence and hastily directed me to the bedroom dressers section without fully understanding my needs. As I ventured towards the furniture, he casually mentioned that the Livonia location had a better selection, which meant an additional 25-minute drive.
Coming from a background in sales myself, I expected a more engaging and customer-centric approach. ABC Warehouse fell short on several fronts – they failed to properly greet, inquire about my requirements, or make an effort to qualify my needs. It became evident that my potential purchase didn't hold much importance to them.
In the realm of sales and customer service, it's crucial to make customers feel valued and appreciated. Regrettably, my experience at ABC Warehouse left me feeling neglected and unenthusiastic about making a purchase. While they did have the items I desired, the lack of personalized attention ultimately drove me to leave the store.
Businesses thrive on building relationships with their customers, and this visit highlighted a missed opportunity for ABC Warehouse. I hope they can learn from such encounters and strive to provide a more customer-focused experience...
