Don’t waste your money or time at this location. I purchased my fiancé’s wedding band from Kay’s in Foley, Al while on vacation. They were AWESOME! They told me with the warranty I purchased that I could get it sized at any Kay’s company for FREE. Carrollton is in the same city we live in, so that is where I took it. The man was unprofessional from the moment I walked in. He looked at my ring and said “this is gold?” in disbelief as if I was bringing some cheap band in that was fake. I brought it in in the original box because we had only purchased it a month prior and it had just been sitting in its box untouched. He inspects it and finally says “ah I see”. He pulls my account up & tells me “this is going to cost you” and I immediately ask why because I knew we had purchased the lifetime warranty! He got an attitude & told me I could look at his iPad and see for myself. He proceeds to take my ring and tell me it will be till the end of June and that I could bring my receipt in receipt when the ring comes back for “proof” of the warranty. So I leave and go home to check my receipt and sure enough I had purchased the warranty. I called the Kay’s we bought the ring from and they were able to pull my purchase right on up and said that the Carrollton location should have been able to as well because they had authority to look at any Kay’s. The lady was so nice and helpful and said she would call on behalf of me if needed. So, I call this Kay’s in Carrollton and ask to speak to the salesman that I had seen earlier in the day. He asks me to read him off the warranty number, which I did and he “still couldn’t find it”. So I take my receipt up there & the man walks straight to the back when he sees me come in. FINALLY, he comes up there with his manager and makes her look at the receipt as if it wasn’t real. At this point I am just very irritated that I have been belittled and treated as if I were dumb. They took a picture and made a “note” because it was not in their system. If the others Kay’s could pull it up, why couldn’t they? I will never spend another second of my time or any more money with this location. They did me wrong a few years back on sizing a family ring and tried saying I was aware of damage to the ring that was not there when I dropped it off. Very unprofessional & none of them should be allowed to work with paying customers if they don’t know how to treat them. Absolutely disgusted. I would give no stars if that...
Read moreIf I could give yall 10 stars 🌟 I would. I'm not for sure the names of the three ladies working last night (7/28/2020) and I apologize for that. A week ago I decided to order my rings 💍 through the website using the new virtual option. I put my zip code in but it sent me to the Huntsville ( store 1888).
When I finally picked my rings out, the lady in Huntsville told me that they would have to get my engagement ring from another store down the road. But she ensured me I would have my RINGS by monday. Monday came and NOTHING. So I text the sales lady, she said how the other store mailed the rings but didn't write down the tracking. She ensured they would be overnight and I would them by Tuesday.... Still NOTHING. So I called the Carrollton location to see if they would pull my ticket and see if they had the rings. They had the engagement ring and the sales lady from the Alabama store had called to verify but never asked the ladies in the Carrollton store to hold it.
Now the sales representative in Alabama (store 1888) knew she didnt follow through with the transfer of the rings from one store to another. I called all the Kay's around them and each manager said they never got the information to keep and send the ring. Just a call to verify it was there.
Wednesday comes and still no rings. So I go to the carrollton store to ask the manager what we could do. WHEN I TELL YOU THESE LADIES WHERE ON IT AND JUST AS UPSET AT THE SITUATION. THEY WERE AMAZING. I wrote off this store never to give any of Kay's Corporate and other store associated with Kay another dime.
These LADIES saved my life, they stay there showing me different rings to make sure that I wanted the first set. Im so thankful they did this. Im so in love with my ring 💍 and because of them I will go buy my husband ring.
These ladies...
Read moreI’m very disappointed in Kay’s based on my mom’s experience with JJ on 5/10/25. First let me start off with the fact that my mom has been a customer and card holder for several years. So when she called on this day (rainy and cold), to check on a specific item she was guaranteed by the person on the phone, who was JJ that the item was indeed in the store and in stock. Upon her arrival, JJ went to check on the item once again that he stated it was indeed in the store when he returned to the counter, he told my mother who is disabled and was trying to be proactive to see if this item was in stock before she drove all the way to the store. JJ told her oh I’m sorry. I thought we had the item but we don’t. OK! Let’s talk about poor customer service, if you’re on the phone with a customer and you’re stating that an item is indeed in the store and when a customer arrives to purchase the item and it’s not, I think that is very disappointing. JJ offered a very pathetic apology, but no explanation as to why he said the item was there after placing my mom on a brief hold. I think JJ was using a very deceitful practice by getting my mother in the store and was trying to maybe get her to purchase something else which I think it’s very nasty. We called customer service and complained about this lack of customer service, and my mom also ended her credit account with the store and will never ever visit the store again. But my mom is to blame because I told her that the Carrollton store has been displaying very poor Customer Service lately. That is why I shop at the store in Newnan at Ashley Park. They are phenomenal in that location and offer the best...
