This is a fee park, which requires a day use fee and is monitored by the US Forest Service park ranger. Having said that, it was nice to know there is no fee for those who have the Inter-agency Senior Park Pass. Beyond that, this is a quiet, shady little park with a shelter featuring bathrooms, trash receptacle, water fountain and built-in picnic tables under-roof. Trees in this idyllic park seem to be an awesome 100'+ tall and provide shade for approximately 10 vehicles with one spot for the handicapped located nearest the self-pay station.
