Whiskey Flats Tavern — Restaurant in Cascade Locks

Honestly really good, I was happy with everything and it was reasonably priced. For a small town whiskey bar I noticed they had bookers and colonel eh Taylor which is impressive.

The food met expectations, wasn’t expecting AMAZING and well it was what I thought it would be. It’s not bad, it’s average and nothing wrong with that. Now the drinks, the homemade root beer, those are where the value really come in.

Had the gorge sunset and it was really good, and 10$. Happy hour wells are like 6$ which is solid. It really met all my expectations and more. Great welcoming atmosphere. Next time may explore the outdoor sitting area. In door they have typical tables and a bar. Yet while not a separate room it’s divided by a fireplace. On back side they have a large flat screen and what looked like some really comfortable lazy boy type chairs.

The “jerk” chicken wings and fried mushrooms were delicious. Wife got a drink “Gorge Sunset”. It was delicious!!!

Great food, great prices, great service and a really awesome vibe inside. We were in the area for the weekend and needed dinner and just about everything was closed, we are so glad they were opened as they had really good food. From the jalapeño smash burger, to the tots, to the buffalo wings, to the Cordon Balls. All good was fresh and tasted amazing! We enjoyed our meal and will definitely stop in again when we return...
