Oil City Axe Company — Attraction in Casper

My girlfriend and I had a date here and our first time there was a blast.

Our coach, Morgan, was awesome and informative and possibly one of the nicest people to come across. It was fun to not only throw hatchets, but throwing stars and machetes and the whole lot.

Some of your booked time was taken up with the instruction, so that was a little downer, but understandable. If there was a way to have you show up 30 min before to sign your waiver and get the instruction out of the way so when it’s your time to throw, you could just be ready, it may be a little better.

Overall, I will definitely be going back, but probably booking a 2 hour session. An hour with the instruction just felt a little short. Great...

We had soooo much fun at Oil City Axe Company! We were celebrating my son’s 20th birthday, but as any parent of an autistic kid knows, it can be daunting to find someplace with the calmness & patience to make some activities a fun experience. We had a couple of autistic kids in the group, & Morgan & Damien were kind, patient, & engaging. Damien is an excellent instructor, & was so awesome with all the kids - the adults too! Lol! The games they have were a blast, & they played awesome music! They even indulged my son with a Rick Roll! 🤣🤣 We will DEFINITELY be back! We decided to give Oil City Axe Company a try for our date night instead of going to a movie and I am SO glad that we did! We had the best time. The entire experience was great! The staff here are down to earth, professional, kind, and knowledgeable! The price was beyond reasonable! Our coach, Dobby, was amazing! He didn’t just walk us through the instructions and bail on us. Instead, he stuck around and gave us tips and tricks while also letting us enjoy time to ourselves. He made sure that we were enjoying ourselves the entire time. We originally were only going to throw for an hour but had so much fun we ended up staying for 2.
