I hate leaving bad reviews. But I feel this one is necessary. The hype on social media is very misleading. My friend and I were both so excited about getting our VIP treatments here. From the moment we walked in we both felt the place was very small and just not the environment you would expect from a spa. So small that there were only 3 chairs in the small waiting area, and one of the employees sat there next to me while waiting for their next appointment to arrive discussing his work day with someone else in front of me. I felt like i was in the employee break room. But I was still optimistic about the service regardless. During the scalp analysis I was asked a few standard questions about my hair care and any concerns. When I was shown the magnified images of my scalp the employee pointed out that I had a flakey scalp due to dryness. I expected to get a more thorough or educated explanation honestly. But that was it. I then asked if I should take a picture of the before image to compare afterwards or if they would show me a side by side and he told me I would be shown the comparison afterwards. The service was nice for the most part, pretty relaxing and enjoyable, except for the fact that the massage bed had a place to put your arms that was was extremely uncomfortable. It would squeeze my arms so tight that I felt I was losing circulation in them. When I asked if just that part could be adjusted he said it could not but that I could just take my arms out. My friend was next to me and she said she also took her arms out because it was uncomfortable. As for the facial, I have nothing to compare it to as this was the first I've ever had. After, I was taken to get my blow dry, which was disappointing. I was in no way expecting salon grade blow out, but when he finished my hair was still damp. When he showed me the scalp analysis afterwards, I asked to see the before images and he said that the system doesn't save them. So why did he tell me I'd be shown a side by side comparison at the end? Wouldn't that make sense to prove the validity and effectiveness of the treatment? There was also no explanation of what I was seeing in the post treatment scalp analysis. I then inquired about other facial services to adresss some sunspots on my forehead. He didn't seem to be able to speak to any specific services that he'd recommend for me. When I asked if I could do a consult to find out what services might help me, he advised me to just look at the services on the website and book one. I was literally giving him an opportunity to upsell me and it was lost on him I think. I then asked him how long he had worked there and how he found out about the opportunity. He said prior to starting there 4 month ago he was working at a smoothie Cafe. I asked what made him want to go into cosmetology and he just said he had heard about this job and thought it sounded fun. He spoke nothing of having any background in cosmetology whatsoever, which was a little concerning to me given that he was administering a massage, a facial, and what was supposed to be a scalp rejuvenation hair wash service. I will say however, every single employee I spoke to was very nice and pleasant. There was a very kind, professional and bright smiley woman who thanked me for coming in as we were leaving (maybe she's the owner but I wasn't sure). Overall not worth $130 and sad to say I won't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was gifted the VIP package which is not cheap. Itās $131 because yes they make you put down a $30 deposit and charge $1.25 credit card fee.. Not a problem I booked my appointment on February 14 and was seen today February 27 let me start off by saying I drove over an 1 and 10 minutes to get to this location because it did get good reviews on Instagram. VIP package was supposed to include a 80 minute service which I only got 60 minutes to be exact 62 minutes. Those two minutes were spent collecting my money and telling the front desk receptionist that the service and chairs were extremely uncomfortable and I would not be returning. when I book the service February 10, there was also supposed to include a foot soak, which I was told in the 27th they no longer have the tubs available because they wanted to put in two more additional chairs. You wouldāve think they wouldāve comped me with an extra massage or something but no, I guess thatās where, my extra 19 minutes went to.
The massage chairs are absolutely uncomfortable. All it does is compression on your arms and calfs and they have these roller balls that literally give you lower back pain about 10 minutes into my service. I asked Teresa which she was nice. Does the massage chair have adjustments? can you lower the pressure she didnāt know she asked another gentleman. Nobody knew how to adjust the settings on the massage chair so I chose to take my legs out and arms out and sit upwards from my Services. I repeatedly kept telling her that itās not comfortable. The only thing that was good was the service of washing your hair. When I first came in, there was a gentleman there that spoke pretty good English, and he seemed nice, but by the time my service was up, he was no longer there, and there was a receptionist there with a dark complexion and did not even ask me, how was my service, but I did go about and telling her that I did not like it it was uncomfortable. When the lady tried to put this beaded wrap on my eyes, it continuously fell down, and she then decided to turn off the sprinkler where the water rolls on your head and tell me the service was over and it was time to dry my hair there was no manager available all I kept hearing from the lady was she will tell the owner about my experience, which I doubt I will hear back from anyone, but I will definitely reach out and also put this review on Instagram since this is where I found this service not on Facebook. If youāre going to be a small business, you would like to inform your clients if the packages have changed prior to your appointment of anticipating getting something that was previously booked . If the workers are telling you, people are complaining about the chairs you might want to do some thing about that as well not everybody wants a hard compression or too round balls digging into your lower back . I would not recommend this place to anyone youāre better off just paying for a massage elsewhere . I still did gracefully tip, Teresa, as it was not her fault that she had no control over the massage chairs and barely spoke any English so I know that was a barrier for her understanding, but she clearly saw my discomfort. She did offer me a hot towel from my shoulders and rubbed my back for about...

Everyone is nice. However, I donāt recall seeing any licenses for the services being performed which is on us for sure as customers, but honestly I have never booked any service in an establishment that was not using licensed personnel so didnāt think twice until after the fact.
This place is SUPER small. Services are out in the open, just curtains to signify some privacy. You hear everyone coming and going, phones ringing (including staff cell phones going off constantly), people talking, not a serene environment at all.
Services were just okay. The halo ring dispensed cold water which ran for roughly 15-20 minutes. Yours eyes are covered, there is a lip mask and your hands and feet are bound by a massage chair that is rigged into a āmassage bedā so not really conducive to telling someone youāre uncomfortable. The massage chairā¦.meant for sitting reclined not for laying FLAT. I have bruises on my lower back from the rolling mechanisms which literally lifted me off the chair each time the rolled over my lower back. The concept is great but maybe the staff have not actually laid there for 2 hours and felt what customers feel.
Communication - terrible. The person doing your service never warns you what is coming next they just do it. Lip mask - no warning, just slapped on there and no word of how long you canāt move your mouth. Mud mask, no warning just doing it.
The scalp treatment was painful - asked for medium pressure expecting massaging of my scalp not scratching a scraping. Super grateful I didnāt ask for hard, I would have no scalp left.
The blowout was subpar. I was slapped repeatedly with the hair dryer cord and the brush was aggressively thrust into my head each time he went for hair. Hair looked decent, but feels like I was beat up. Seems personnel were trained via a video or YouTube tutorial rather than being a licensed professional. Just my opinion, although I will be researching their licensing status.
For a head spa, a lot of time was spent doing other things. Maybe 30 minutes of our 2 hour session was spent on the actual scalp.
Canāt give a one star because overall the services were okay, there is just A LOT of room for improvement. The space is just not relaxing at all.
Yes, I paid for everything and did not say anything at the timeā¦..against my better judgment. I made that choice to avoid confrontation. I will be calling to request some sort of...
