Last week I followed the recommendation of my iPhone settings and contacted my carrier regarding replacing my battery as it was degraded. This was supposed to be a free, easy service, but I was the sucker. the rep showed up at my house over 30 minutes late for my appointment time and while working on my phone damaged the screen saying that my phone overheated when she swapped the battery and caused it to short. This would potentially leave me without a phone for about a day and a half, when I have small children in school that I need to be able to contact. l also work with clients sometimes on my cell phone and I told her that I would not wait that long to get a screen and that I could go visit Jeremy to have this fixed. She said the company would overnight me a phone for free and that I should call them anyway. when I called Asurion, they quoted a $250 deductible for a new phone and also told me that going to another party to fix my screen voids the warranty and there was nothing they could do despite the fact that there employee was the one that damaged my phone.
I have known Jeremy a few years now, and he has repaired many devices in my household and I would recommend him to anyone. not only did Jeremy replace the screen on my phone in a timely manner I also just had my battery replaced by him today and my phone is already working better than it was. They informed me that they were unable to fix the problem after a week and a half of having my tv(granted it was over New Years and they apologized for the delay). So I took the tv back. When I got it home my tv didn’t work at all. This was not communicated to me over the phone properly. I was unaware when I took the tv back that it wasn’t going to work at all so I then had to bring the tv back to the store only to be told there was nothing they could do. Tv is completely useless now. Wasn’t even offered a refund on the $40 they charged me for the diagnostic. On top of all that, while leaving with my busted tv the manager asked if I wanted help carrying it to my car, I said if you wouldn’t mind(it’s a 55” tv and is hard to carry by yourself and open up a car door).
