I was very disappointed. I received a gift certificate for christmas for a 60 minute massage. I called two weeks ahead of time to schedule a massage for my birthday and to ask if I could upgrade a regular 60 minute massage to a pregnancy massage because I was 6 and a half months pregnant at the time. She said okay and scheduled me. Fast forward to the day of the appointment when I walked in I said I was there for my massage, I wanted to do the pregnancy massage, motioned to my 7 months along belly and said I would be happy to pay any difference in price, understanding pregnancy massages are generally more expensive. She asked how long, I said 60 minutes and handed her my gift certificate. I was brought back into a room and told to undress and lay flat on my stomach, which was obviously impossible as it's pretty big, being 7 months pregnant. I told her, I cannot lie on my stomach, I'm pregnant, and this time lifted my shirt to show her, again, my belly. So she redirected me to the front of the store where I was told to sit in a chair and had my shoulders, arms and upper back rubbed. During this time, 3 different people came in the store. After I was moved to another room where my feet and calves were rubbed. What was done felt good but as anyone that's ever carried a child could figure, I was really looking forward to having my lower back and hips rubbed, which didn't even get touched. Nor did my upper legs. If they would have just told me from the beginning they don't offer pregnancy massages I could have saved the certificate until after I gave birth and gone to another spa and just paid for the pregnancy massage I wanted. I didn't want to be upset or rude and I had already driven 30 minutes to be there, so I took the massage they gave me and still left a tip for the massage I did receive. It wasn't bad, but it definitely was not at all what I wanted and I really wish I hadn't wasted my Christmas gift on half a massage. This place came highly recommended, just don't go if you're...
Read moreThe massage was good, never had hot stone, so that was relieving. We went as a couple and my husband felt she did too of a rough massage. The reason I gave a 3 star is because I spoke to Alina on the phone and was "specific" about wanting a Tai Massage, when arriving, they just wanted to give me whatever they wanted and as I struggled in repeating to them that what I wanted was a TAI, she continued insisting on the Swedish, so I wasn't going to argue (what I should have done was what my gut feeling said, to leave at that moment but having such a achy day, I just agreed). She did a little Tai on my husband on the table but I never got any... And when going to pay, they are adamant about leaving a 35% TIP because I wasn't leaving that much and I said to them, that tipping isn't obligated but she gave me a face about it, looking at the other lady saying "she only wants to leave x tip for two people!" The other lady said that they work really hard and pointed to the 35% TIP on the machine saying "it's what most people leave..." I was happy with the massage even though it's NOT what I wanted, so didn't want to make a big deal about it either and paid the 35% but will not go...
Read moreI came in with a lot of pain in my shoulder and sciatic nerve. I work as a crisis manager and on a computer for 10-12 hours a day 6 days a week. It was closer to close but they still fit me in. I worked with Lisa and she has to be one of the most talented massage therapists I’ve had she has to have over 10 years experience and super strong.
The receptionist and Lisa both went over my issues and mapped out my shoulder and back that needed help. Sometimes other places don’t even ask. Lisa over the course of an hour helped break up so much scar tissue and knots as I write this (next day) I slept the best I had in months and although definitely sore finally relieved of pain I’ve had for months.
Don’t waste your time with anywhere else make sure you go here and if possible ask for Lisa. Well priced btw cheaper than other places and for 10x...
