Last Sunday I came into the store simply to browse and noticed a pair of Hanwag Rotpunkt shoes on the shelf marked down 60%. I know the shoe well and they're extremely difficult to find. I was curious so I went up to the counter and spoke with P.J. who was friendly and very well versed in the shoes. I asked if there was any chance of finding these shoes in a men's 10.5, any color will do if I can get them. He didn't have them in stock which I expected but he looked nationwide and found 1 pair in a 10.5 in the whole country and they're blue which would have been my first choice! He said he would have them shipped to their store so I can try them on and if I like them I can take them. I received a call yesterday that they had arrived along with a pair in a size 10 of a different color to try. I went last night and worked with P.J. again and the shoes were perfect. Perfect shoes, perfect color, and above all, perfect service! I work in sales for the Cadillac dealer in Boulder and I value customer service above anything else, every employee I came in contact with was friendly, smiling and gave off a great vibe. Read moreFirst time in store here and the young lady working there was super sweet when I asked her questions about a shirt I was purchasing for my husband (who was in another store at the time)... unfortunately, my husband's shoulders were too big for the shirt. Brought it back literally within 15 minutes and she was getting ready to refund when the older lady/potential manager? asked her if it was red-tagged (it wasn't on the tag), so she made her pull it up in register and told us we could only exchange or receive store credit in a very abrasive manner...I have never seen what I think is a manager respond so rudely not only to us but to the sweet young lady helping us. I spent over 20 years as a supervisor in a major hotel chain and we prided ourselves in making our guests want to return to our property with quality customer service, and we definitely took care of our associates. I guess COVID was also the demise of intelligence when it comes to repeat business. Don't worry lady.... we won't be coming back after how you chose to act so publicly-- it's called RUDENESS! You serve customers, not the other way around!...

The pants my wife purchased were just a little too small and because they were a Christmas gift they were not opened until Christmas. We waited until after the new year to return the pants for the correct size, after checking with the staff that this was okay. Again, my wife checked with staff to ensure that if the pants were not the right size she could return them or swap them out and after Christmas they echoed the same statement. We were told that if we found a pair of pants we could do a one for one exchange no problems at all. When we got to the store though, we found out this is not the case. The store manager told me that because the pants were purchase during a sale, I would have to pay the price difference for the same exact pants that were only different in size.
