I have to agree with the many other serious complaints against this company. We had a new home built for us in Rancho Mirage, and Palm Springs Mirror & Glass installed the windows.
We've had nothing but trouble with multiple windows failing soon after installation, and even after having some of them repaired, they still messed up a 2nd time.
We do not live at this property full time, so every time we've visited over the past 4 years it has involved the hassle of contacting these guys and being put through the hassle of scheduling replacements, service calls, sending pics, having guys come unprepared to see what the issue is, etc. With the window in question here, they told us to contact the supplier about it (Milgaard), and after spending 2 years trying to get a response from Milgaard and schedule a visit, they come and advise they didn't even make them. We went back to PS Mirror & Glass who then says they got them made from a different supplier and will arrange for them to be replaced. After several months of not getting a reply from their receptionist Lisa to schedule the replacement, we again followed up and were then told too bad they are out of warranty. The entire delay in getting this resolved was 100% Palm Springs MG, so perhaps this is how they dodge responsibility for their poor work.
What they did offer, was to cover the cost of the glass, provided we pay over $1300 for labour. This is also very shady, as I got a quote from other glass companies for about half that cost to replace them, including the cost of the glass. Looks like they were trying to make a lot of profit on replacing their own poor work.
Even after advising we would be filing a complaint with the Contractors State License Board for all the issues we've had, the response we got from Lisa Fleres-Schindler was:
"Kelly, I have sent your messages onto the owner of the company. Any future messages, please email to Darryl directly. Darryl@psmirrorandglass.ā¦"
Of course, over the course of a week and multiple messages, Darryl has not bothered to respond.

1-24-17 Ordered Windows
2-6-17 (13 days later) Called for status of order ā The woman said my shower doors were ready to install?? I ordered windows not shower doors
2-7-17 Walked into office. Alex said there will be a delay.
2-14-17 (9 days later) Installed windows. Gap - Light showing through one corner, installer caulked the inside of the window āŗ Wouldnāt it be more effective if it were caulked on the outside? Used damaged spacers, they had no new parts on the truck. One window was miss measured had to re-order. The person who took the original measurements was the manager. This tells you the attention to detail this company has.
2-16-17 Installed window that was miss measured. Installed damaged seal after I asked him not to. I immediately walked into the office showing Alex the quality of work your company was doing. He had me email him the pictures.
2-22-17 (6 days later) asked for the status of the new seal.
2-27-17 Installed new seal. Installers said they couldnāt see why I wanted a new seal. I said REALLY! None of my other windows have ½ā spaces like this. Again, This tells you the attention to detail this company has.
4-11-17 Received a call from Pam for the balance of invoice $347.00
Originally they quoted 7 days the job would be done. This job took 33 days to complete. It held up my stucco man, AC installers and the painters. This long delay...
