Firehouse Subs Cedar City Towne Center — Restaurant in Cedar City

This firehouse subs location really struggles. Every time we have ordered food from here they’re running behind, the staff is not very nice, they’re out of a lot of drinks, and the dining area is not clean. I decided to finally write a review today because it’s my birthday today, so I wanted to redeem my free sub. I came in with my sister for lunch. I have a rewards account (with a lot of previous transactions and some rewards). The cashier looked it up by phone number and said it wasn’t coming up. I pulled up my account on my phone and sure enough my phone number is attached to my rewards account. Regardless of showing him my account on my phone, he said he couldn’t find me via cash register and therefore don’t get the free sub. Okay, that sucks, so I paid for it. There was no acknowledgment that it’s my birthday today. Instead, they were very unfriendly and unaccommodating. Never even a “we’re sorry about that” or a free cookie. They seem like they have chips on their shoulders. When we left I said, “by the way, it would be nice to at least say happy birthday or simply just be nice to a customer, especially if you’re not going to give them their birthday freebie.” And this manager responded in a passive aggressive way, “yep, you’re welcome!” The customer service here is awful, but to be rude to someone on their birthday is a new low.

UPDATE: I reached out to support on their website and they did not acknowledge the poor experience we had, at all. I was only given a reason why I did not get the birthday freebie. The real problem here was their attitude and the way they dealt with it. Zero...

I have had covid two times in the last two years. The first time I didn't really notice that my taste buds were not as good as they were before. I am the kind of person that eats as fast as they can then check for flavors later. LOL. Today after I went to an appointment I was driving back home Main Street and saw Firehouse Subs. For some reason it sounded really good to me. I have shied away from a lot of eating out because dill pickles and fried chicken taste the same to me: Bland. I ordered a sandwich. I've been there before or after my first covid run and the flavor just wasn't there for me obviously due to the covid. However I didn't know it. So needless to say in the last couple of years I have really not had any good meals. That all changed today. I think my taste buds are telling me that they are back. I had the best sandwich today that I have ever had anywhere. Everything tasted so flavorful and I was so happy to actually enjoy food. For me that brings a good thought and puts Firehouse Subs to the top of my list. As always the people are wonderful there. Treated very well. This location is so disturbing and disgusting 🫣 a group of us went in there to eat the place wasn't clean the staff was slow they take over 15 minutes to do one sandwich there was 7 of us in are group when we noticed the guy worker a older man he had a real bad case of pink eye it was so bad he couldn't see or keep eyes open when we got up there to order he wasn't wearing gloves he was wiping his pink eye all over his hands and fingers he was touching all the cups and money and everything we all decided not to order for it was so disgusting and unsafe for everyone in that store alot of customers were leaving i will never go back to that store in cedar city utah he should have been sent home and he was touching food and products beware when going to this location we didn't want to risk getting pink eye we left and will be calling corporate as well as better business bureau as well as the health department this man's eye was so bad people will most likely...
