I was in this store last evening and a customer came to the guest service desk while I was also right there. They were asking about why they did not get the target circle rewards the cashier had told them about. One of the help desk girls was asking questions and asked to see her app so she could dig deeper and try and find out. the customer was all the while talking bout how it didn’t make sense, how Target probably took her money and she wanted her money back… point is she was not being very nice and as her tone changed another lady showed up to assist her. More like support her team while a customer is getting loud and obnoxious. Meanwhile they asked the lady if she had logged into the target guest wi-fi and this is where she snapped. She began to verbally abuse the girls, the one lady that was trying to help asked her to try and log into it since there was probably a glitch and the lady went off! She was yelling, her demeanor was very threatening and she was demanding names and acting like she was wronged when these two poor girls were just trying to help her. She put on a show, raising her voice, calling the one girl names and at the tail end the one girl walked away because the lady threatened her and pulled her phone out as if to record her. She called her names and kept demanding her name. She wouldn’t leave. The reason I am writing this is because that lady was playing the victim and those two girls did nothing to be rude or mean or yell and that lady was crazy. Read moreWas shocked by the customer service from Grant. Our home flooded and we lost almost everything. We saw a rug in store and told him that we wanted to buy it online and pick up to get the extra 15% off (every discount helps when you have to replace everything you own). Grant told us come back in a couple hours for processing. I said okay that’s fine, but please don’t put it back on the shelf because it’s the last one. He said he didn’t have a choice and that’s the policy even though we were purchasing online that second. Most other targets usually just help you out or simply say, “sure, we’ll hang on to it until we can process it and get it back to you.” He was just very snarky and acted like he was above us or entitled. When talking to him and telling him about how our home flooded he interrupted me and said, “okay, awesome” ??? That just told me he really couldn’t care less about what I was saying. I’m also confused why he’s a trainer when he gave the worst customer service I’ve ever had. We almost just returned everything and left because we were so appalled on how we were being treated over a rug, and we are just confused on how it’s awesome that our house flooded. I hate leaving a bad review but this service was unacceptable and needs to be addressed. Will be going to other targets in the future. On another note, the original employee that helped us was very friendly. We noticed that when he called Grant up to apply the discount Grant completely ignored him at one point. Read moreOpened a circle card since i shop at target often and spent several hundred dollars. I was told and in the app supposed to receive a $50 reward for spending more than $50 on a circle card. I never got the reward and when i went in to make another purchase and informed the staff of the error and showed them that i made a qualifying purchase they refused to honor the discount and told me they couldn't help me and to call a corporate number. I called the corporate number and they were absolutely no help at all whatsoever. Horrible customer service and that the managers there cannot do the right thing and honor the discount considering i had proof and their system is the one failing. I understand that there are “policies” but sometimes the policies are wrong and systems fail and they should be able to make it right for the customers in store and if they ever offer you the corporate number just know its a waste of time. They are just as bad and did not offer any solutions or things to make things right for their systems failure.
