Galleria Mall — Attraction in Centerville

There are people here scanning your wallets here where they will steal your credit card info by simply walking close to you with credit card readers. Two credit cards got hit by people who then tried to use them on PayPal on this one visit at this mall. The best plan is to stay away from this mall. But if you do go, protect your cards or leave the ones you don't need at home. The clientele of this mall is very apparently pretty shady overall. You will see immediately once you get there. Parts of the mall smelled like marijuana because the customers it attracts are largely people who looked trashy and are unproductive members of society at best. Belk seemed halfway decent but the open parts of the mall were not exceptional nor acceptable to me because of the majority of those walking around there. This place isn't bad. It's got several good stores but some of our favorites left including a few of the best places to eat. I blame it on COVID and an online shopping push. The event staff if great at putting on stuff for the community though. Several great events go on here throughout the year. Next time you hear about it you should definitely check out whatever is going on. More people means more business and more business means more businesses....

Nice clean mall experience that kinda reminded me of younger days at our local mall that has gone so far downhill that rarely will I go to. I liked it, good atmosphere. Other visitors seemed happy. Diverse mix of people all races and not heavy on any one level of wealth or poverty just kinda what you like seeing america be. I think the military presence kinda keeps things balanced.
