If there were 0 stars I would put that. Where to began. First we had our tour moved from Thursday to Saturday because they were overbooked. Came to the location that was provided to by email. Get there 6:48 no one is there. I called these people 68 times & also did my friends call. They didn’t answer & then blocked us from calling. Never in my life will we book with this sorry pathetic company. Communicate is key & then don’t wanna give a refund when you could answer the phone. If your looking for a waste of your MONEY & TIME then this is BEST please to book. Oh but don’t try to call because you will only get ignored or blocked. They have never just left at 6:45 because it take about 10-15 go over rules . Also the sorry excuse for a caption would normally call to check to see where this guest are. I guess times are hard for them & would prefer to just steal peoples money. Will also be reporting to BBB. However I also post the experience on all of my social medias as well as my friends. Your better off booking your own 2 feet & walking across water to see the sunset then the HARBOR TAKE PEOPLE MONEY & LEAVE THEM VIEW CHARTER BS‼️‼️
I’m ecstatic that I was able to breaksome type of record because we know you will never break a record for BEST ANYTHING for customer service . Congratulations on replying to the message you are alive & response & reply to what you please. This isn’t the 1st time we took this BS charter but will be LAST. You have waiting on people more that 15mins I seen with own eyes. Also I have seen caption BS to call people & ask where are you. We were not 30mins late. I can’t help your Ragley phone doesn’t pick up phone calls maybe you should take that money that we paid you with for nothing and buy another phone. Actually when we walked up to your boat that was the only time that anyone said that it was 50% capacity- as a business owner you made no attempt to assign safe distancing seating or barriers to help guide us. We ALL Had our mask in our purses that we brought and IN FACT one of our party was carrying it in her hand. When we arrived we ascertained the situation and evaluated our personal safety. It may be open air but droplets don’t care-and there was no 6ft radius per party available. This is a small boat with 5 benches on one side and 5 on the other. Point being is when we decided to leave we explained our concerns quietly to your captain, and he promptly got indignant and turned around to the other passengers and mocked us, to which we heard them start saying well I have masks, they should masks. AGAIN, no one asked any of your staff or other passengers for ANYTHING. Did say we wanted a refund, that they had to wear masks (although that would be common sense), or assign seating (another common sense), or to cancel the trip. In fact we were polite, didn’t make a scene and went about our business. Had your captain shown some reserve, understanding and professionalism this experience would have been different. And I can assure you, as a healthcare team member, 100% of our patients never thought they would get COVID. Perhaps instead of being sarcastic and making assumptions you could communicate with your customers with respect as we did with your captain. Read more5 stars for Captain Bret! I called the captain with about 3 days notice saying that I would be in Charleston and wanting to propose to my girlfriend. He was very accommodating and even picked us up on his boat right at our hotel in the marina.
I was nervous as hell and he was a tremendous reason why the whole event went so smoothly. We did a private charter which was very reasonably priced, so much in fact that all my friends and family were shocked at the price. I ended up proposing on an island in the Charleston Harbor and Captain Bret literally came on the island and recorded the entire thing.
He also helped me out and got me a bottle of champagne on request and did not overcharge me a penny over what it cost him. There are so many places out there that could have taken advantage of me and my now fiancé on this special event and Harborview Charters just does extremely good business. I will be a customer for life and will always have good things to say about this company. Don't make the mistake of going with any other Charter or boat tour without checking out my man Bret!
I have been in business my entire life and this kind of service and this kind of experience is near impossible to find! You will not be disappointed people. Call Captain Bret for your next private or group charter and you will be glad you did.
