Katura® Day Spa — Attraction in Charlotte

I would like to take a moment and brag on Khalia at Katura Day Spa. She is hands down the best Esthetician there is and I'm so grateful I found her. My story is that from an early age of 15, I developed acne and over the years have been on everything from Accutane, Proactiv to various medications for hormonal acne. I started a very bad habit at a young age of picking at my face, a lot. Needless to say that has left scarring on certain parts of my face that Khalia is now helping me with. I'm 42 years old and I met my husband 7 years ago, been married 5. I didn't want him to see me without makeup on for years because I was so self-conscious about my scars. I got over that because I married the most incredible man, and he told me he loves me and doesn't even see my scars. Makes me always feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. I hit the jack pot and he is my far better half. I'm happy that Khalia can help me with lasering the scars away. It's not a 1 time thing, and I did a lot of damage by picking at my face and laying out in the sun. It's a process and I had my first laser facial today and it was AMAZING!!! I told Khalia that I had so much fear about having lasers on my face. Let me tell anyone out there if you are considering having a laser facial to help with scarring, wrinkles, and just tightening, DO IT. It doesn't hurt at all, and I would compare it to feeling the sun on your face, a warm sensation, but it doesn't hurt. My skin was glowing after and I'm really looking forward to my next one. I can already tell a difference after one facial and cannot wait to see how it looks after a few more. I'm so grateful for Khalia and excited for this journey we are on together.

My mom and I visited the spa this Saturday. They were great at scheduling us as soon as they could which I appreciated. We both had the signature facials. My mom saw Kim for her facial and she gives her 5 stars. She said Kim was very attentive, and she felt very relaxed and great afterwards. My mom mentioned that Kim had her inhale essential oils to relax and massaged all of her arms including fingers and shoulders. My mom is hard lady to impress and she was very impressed. I saw Khalia for my facial and I give her 4 stars. Everything was great and she gave great suggestions but honestly I was a little disappointed because I wish I would have had essential oils to smell and the massage given to me was only till the middle of my upper arm, I would have appreciated my mom’s experience especially because I am a dental hygienist and my hands are always under a lot of stress. This wouldn’t prevent me from going back but I would be more attentive as to what I receive as part of my facial, I know we were new clients and I guess that’s why there wasn’t enough time but I don’t know my mom had the same time as I did. I'm so glad I discovered this spa. Booking on the website was super easy. I received a signature facial . The owner, Kim, went over your information thoroughly and explained her plan significant to you and your skin. She was extremely knowledgeable about products and procedures to best suite your individual needs. That made me feel extremely comfortable . Once we got over the logistics , she lets you relax and she'll check in every so often to make sure you're fine . I feel like I struggled with staying awake. Each facial comes with a neck and hand massage and I enjoyed it! My skin looked AMAZING afterwards. I mean I could Visibly see how clean and unclogged my pores were. I had a natural and beautiful glow when I left there. I literally couldn't stop looking in the morning while driving home. My face not only looked hydrated and moisturized but it felt like it. I was extremely please and my search for a good facial is over . Kim was very pleasant and personable. We chatted for a bit and gave me tips on how to keep my face clear under these masks.
