Yesterday I enjoyed a great 60 minute massage with Andrea at the Myers Park location at Providence and Sharon Amity. I just recently had a back procedure and needed specific areas of my buttocks, legs and calfās addressed. I was suffering from extreme sciatic pain symptoms.I explained very clearly to Andrea what my limitations were, areas that needed to be very gently covered around a specific injection I had in my spine. I was suffering from extreme sciatic nerve pain, and numbness in my left calf and foot. Andrea listened intently and gave me the most relief I have ever experienced from a massage, at Massage Envy or any other place Iāve ever been. If youāre having back pain or sciatic pain and need to get relief from that immediately, Andrea will take care of you. You might need to tell her to move an inch to the left or an inch to the right or deeper pressure or softer pressure, but she was so accommodating with every request that I had Particularly In the area of the buttocks, where the sciatic pain really started, she left the sheet up and dug into Me with her elbow in those areas that needed working so badly and that gave me so much relief. I cannot explain to you in this review how much relief she gave me. For the rest of the day the only issue I experienced was numbness in my left foot and partial numbness in the left calf, which is associated with another injury that she couldnāt fix. The numbness is an issue that my neurologist has to address in the next couple of weeks. Sorry this is so long. But if you have sciatica and you need to get relief, go see Andrea and Massage Envy at The Myers Park location. I promise you that you will be glad that you did.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreEach of the massage therapists and facialists were incredible and so professional every time I went here! Which makes me sad to report that the administration is what made it a hostile experience. They coerced me into a membership contract after my massage. I had booked the massage with a gift card from family. I told them I couldnāt sign up because I was moving to the U.K. in two months. They said āno problem I could cancel no charge for moving outside of a massage envy jurisdiction at any timeā. So I signed up, I left feeling a little swindled. I went once more, the following time I paid $110 total for a great massage and facial and processed my cancellation, including providing proof of my new international address. It was then, that I continued getting the charges of $80.00 for multiple months. I constantly tried to dispute it via email (since I could not call without receiving intl phone charges), they stopped answering my emails. I eventually had to dispute with my credit card company while overseas which of course took hours and brought stress (wasnāt it supposed to be about relaxation to begin with?). Anyways, if you go here you will have a great experience⦠until you have to argue your way out of a membership, post-massage, with the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo I booked an appointment with this location for a 90 minute introductory session on 2/13 @ 6:30pm ($113). I was at intro rates because I hadnāt been in to a ME in well over a year. I found out a friend died the night before & had to cancel my session due to then having to attend a vigil at 6pm that day. I called that day (2/13) around 11:15am to cancel the appointment. I was told it would be a 50% charge which I understood because thatās the policy for same day cancellations (even though i was never told when booking). Come to find out the manager charged me 100% of a 60 minute intro session ($75). I called back asking why & she said to compensate for the therapistās time & she was being nice by just charging me for the hour. The policy clearly states on the Massage Envy website for all locations 50% charge same day cancel, 100% no call no show. I gave 7 hours notice of my cancellation, therefore I was wrongfully charged more than I was supposed to since it was only supposed to be $56. I told her that & she said those are the rules . The website itself even says otherwise. Needless to say I wonāt give any business to a location that overcharges customers & treats...
