Woke up this morning completely frustrated with my hair and knew it was time for a haircut! I don’t have a go-to stylist so while I was at lunch uptown I looked up the closest salon near me with the best reviews and low and behold I found Ruth’s Hair Salon! They have amazing reviews for a reason. I called them to see if they could squeeze me in today for a haircut and they didn’t hesitate to tell me to come on in!

I saw Tracey and she was awesome & has the best personality which is a plus. She listened to exactly what I wanted (small trim with long simple layers so I could keep my length) and did AMAZING. I love how my hair feels and looks now!

I would not recommend this place. Men’s haircuts start at $28. The person who cut my hair only took 15 minutes to cut. No neck shave, No wash and no shampoo. It was sloppy haircut. I didn’t realize the mistakes until I got home. In the picture you can see the neck line is cut uneven , from left to right. Rest of haircut is uneven too. I should have known when the stylist didn’t hand me a mirror at the end of the cut. I can’t speak for women but I would advise men to skip this place....

I was a walk-in in the middle of the afternoon. They had an available salonist, so I went directly to a seat for a cut. I asked specifically for a trip and swoop bang cut. My stylist Sheila was great and gave me exactly what I asked for. She was sure to check with me as she cut, so that I received what I wanted. The cut only cost me $15! I'll take the deal any day.
