service in the morning is TERRIBLE!!!! An older woman and man were standing there on their PHONES while I stood there for 2 minutes waiting for them to take my order. The man said, “wassup” while he was still scrolling on his phone. Not a proper greeting. He didn’t even look up. I said, “can I get a medium roast with cream and sugar?” Still looking at his phone he said, “sureeeee” like he was lazy. After receiving my coffee, I said “thank you” they looked at me without smiling and didn’t say “you’re welcome”. I said thank you again loud enough. No comments. I told them that I did not appreciate the service today and both the male and female workers laughed at me. If you hate your job that much, then it’s time to quit! Service is one of the most important things to have in every company and it’s always important to maintain strong communication and eye contact! Laughing at a costumer because of making a reasonable complaint is just wrong. I placed a four star review last night after receiving terrific service in the afternoon, they were completely different workers and I did not have troubles with them. The afternoon shifts were awesome! They maintained communication and eye contact throughout the ordering process, however I would not recommend morning! Guy with a dark beard and mustache and female with...

I really really love this place! It reminds me of a coffee shop that I used to go to in high school at in my hometown. I come to the Stone cup to do homework, read, sit down with friends, or just enjoy the absolutely fantastic view (I swear it's one of the best in town). Not to mention, it's some pretty great selfie lighting. Lol.

I love the exposed brick, twinkling light, and leather couch astethic. It's always comfy and very enjoyable. I think the little lights look like stars. I also love the interchangable artwork that is on the walls. It's always cool to see new things up.

The coffee here is really really great. My personal fave is a coconut mocha, but you almost can't go wrong. The sweet little desserts are also always good. My favorite has been the blueberry muffins with a lemon glaze 😍. So great!

I'm also really fond of the events that take place at the Stone cup. It seems like they do a lot for the community with videogame tournaments, open mic nights, poetry workshops (personal favorite!), silent disco parties, and more.

I wish I could give a higher rating! I...

Sad that they even attempt to offer food! This was a Sunday morning destination to "try something different". We got what we came for. Cold eggs Cold sausage Asked for water and never received it Asked for Ketchup and was informed "We don't have any". Even a street vendor Has ketchup!! There was seating outside available for Morning dining and a great view. No One took the time to wipe the tables down From the rain the night before. Several Customers couldn't find a table inside! Under staffed and without the skills To multi task!!!!!

Compliments

Decent coffee....not great GREAT bacon! Friendly staff Nice decor Timely service

This is a restaurant! This is a wifi coffee shop that attempts...

Brilliant cafe on the North Shore strip. It's the perfect alternative to Starbucks and a great choice compared to the other coffee shops in the area. Stone Cup offers a generous mural-ized menu that includes vegan options. The vibe is relaxed with big comfortable sofas, exposed brick walls, local art, and Edison string lights. The view from the second floor is great, too, and overlooks the Tennessee River, the walkable Walnut Street bridge, and a portion of the South Shore. Parking is available in the back and on the street.
