My first and last time coming to this dump. I came from out of town and was shopping and came across this place. $23 a kid was steep considering it looked old and dumpy but I wanted my son to burn off some energy so we decided to check it out. We were here for about ten minutes playing when my son grabbed some of the beads from one of the play pits and threw a handful. Mind you there was already beads all over the place already from kids who have done the same. She runs over and yells at me and my son. She yells at me and says “tell him no he can’t play with that” I told her how my son is non verbal autistic she ignored me then shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes and walked away!!! If she would have approached it differently I wouldn’t have had an issue however I am a 30 year old woman I don’t need another woman yelling at me or my kid. So got up and went to leave when I told the cashier what happened she did apologize however this women who yelled at me (assuming she was the owner she seemed in charge) completely ignored me again when I was trying to confront her about yelling. I was there less than 15 mins.i should have gotten a refund. Either way I would never waste my time on this cheesy tacky dump again there are better places to...
Read moreWe had my son’s second birthday party here. We were greeted by Haven, who was very energetic and nice. A lot of the guests for our party arrived late and the employees were mindful of this and allowed us to have our pizza/cake time after our designated time. We appreciated them extending that kindness. Our room was decorated nicely and I appreciated not having to add much to their standard decor. The overall play space is decent, albeit, it’s definitely on the smaller side. Our party room was meant for 10 children and 10 adults, but it was very tight and several of the adults didn’t feel comfortable coming in as it felt too cramped. For the price they charge, they should definitely allow kids to continue to play after the 2 hour party slot. They expect another $22 per child after your $500 2-hr party… on top of that, the area remains open to the public and it gets way too crowded, especially when you have little ones. It costs about 2k to reserve the entire space. We were fortunate that it wasn’t too busy at the time we had our party but I wouldn’t bank on that being typical experience for this place. All in all, the staff was friendly and helpful, the space was fun for small children, but definitely way too small and...
Read moreStar park was awesome! We went there for my niece’s second birthday. The location is convenient, right inside Cherry Hill Mall near the entrance by Old Navy. They have several areas for kids to play in. The place is clean, staff are friendly and there’s plenty of party rooms. They don’t allow anyone to wear shoes in through the gates which is great for sanitation purposes. They have a dance area with music for the kiddos that also has bubbles blowing which I thought was cool. The playground is a nice size and has many objects to play with, even a swing. I would say it is ideal for kids ages 1-10. There is a toddler area with a small ball pit and then an area for bigger kids that has a bigger ball pit and bigger slides. They serve food such as pizza and also have juice, water and snacks (a cafe area). Toys and souvenirs for purchase. It is a nice size place, not overwhelming like kids empire could be (because it’s so huge). The pizza was tasty and the party room my sister and brother in law booked was a good size for 15 kids. It was beautifully decorated. The staff decorated the room as a part of the party package and made a few balloon arches. This place was a 10/10 I would...
