Asmaa and Yasmin are amazing! This is - by far - the best shop for formal and custom dresses!

I purchased my daughter's 1st homecoming dress here, as well as an incredible red dress for an upcoming event for me before my wedding next week. Both dresses needed some minor alterations, and I wanted the red one customized a bit. Asmaa did a fantastic job on both dresses in record time! Perfect fit!

I love her so much and the work she does, I brought my wedding dress to her for alterations instead of using the bridal shop where I purchased it. This dress also needed a bit of customizing. Asmaa completely understood my vision. I just tried it on and it is stunning! I can't wait to wear it on my big day!

Aside from the fact that this shop has the very best selection of dresses in all sizes (my daughter is a 00 and I'm an 8), Asmaa and her daughter are so wonderful to work with! There is no where else around where I received the kind of attention these women give. It has been a truly easy and lovely experience in every way.

Sometimes we need a special kind of person in our lives, and Asmaa was truly my angel with superpowers. She didn't really have time to alter my wedding dress, but she worked it in somehow. She made a secondary alteration to make it fit even better since I had lost a little too much weight by the time she finished with the original alteration. She even had less time in her crazy schedule to do this with St. Louis Fashion week happening as well, but Asmaa was so worried about MY DRESS she couldn't sleep and did it early the next morning. I have been completely stunned by her commitment and attention to detail.

This is a five star shop with a five star owner who provides a five star experience! There is no where else I will go!

If you're a person of color, this is really not the place for you. I was with my mom looking for bridesmaids dresses. They did the bare minimum of greeting us when we come in, but essentially left us to figure it out while they attended heavily to their white customers.

We found some dresses we liked & I went to go try them on. One particular dress had a top that could be tied in a multitude of ways & that's when they decide to come over & "help". They were literally undressing me IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE STORE to show all the ways the top could be adjusted. It was absolutely humiliating & unprofessional to not offer privacy & just assume I was okay with exposing my upper body like that. & after that embarrassment, they gave us no further attention as we were not as important as their white customers, who they offered privacy to by meeting them at their dressing rooms

We decided upon three dresses & my mom spent time deciding who would wear what dress, calling to check sizes of the bridesmaids. We were getting up to go the the cash register, which is by the door, & they panicked & forced us to stop & hang the dresses on a rack as if we were going to steal them...

Trying our best to move past this, my mom had questions about the dresses before we we through finalizing the purchase. The lady was being completely unhelpful, talking fast, & talking over us as if we were just the most inconvenience to her. Meanwhile I look over & see they let their white customers leave the store wearing their UNPAID dresses to take pictures in the sun....we left.

My mom has been very adamant about supporting smaller businesses on her wedding journey, but this is just not it. It's very clear who they want to get their money from & I don't recommend the trouble of putting this place on the list if you're a POC. It was such a...
