I attended my first WNBA game at the Wintrust Arena on June 27, 2024 when Chennedy, Angel, and the gang took on the Las Vegas Aces. (We lost but Chennedy Carter went crazy the next time they played them in Vegas and we won!) Anyway, the arena is new and beautiful. I attended with my daughters and niece and we had a blast! The arena was a total vibe from the moment we arrived. I didn’t get one of the give aways but they were passing out bucket hats that said Chicago Sky. ( I soon came to regret that decision as my jealousy mounted at all the fans who took the time to go and get one before they ran out.) We found our seats then went and got pizza and churros- they had cinnamon and vanilla. I got popcorn. Then I went to the adult beverage stand and got a Modelo beer and a shot of tequila. The game was so exciting and chock full of fun activities between the quarters of play. Even the fans were so cool. We had a blast and you will too. Tickets weren’t cheap. I got 2 for $112 and 2 for $145. I purchased through the Ticketmaster website. (Y’all, I just got a letter that Ticketmaster had a data breech but I’ll save that for my Ticketmaster review. 😒)You’ll see from the pics that we were pretty high up. I was a little nervous about parking but I made sure we left out early so we would have enough time to find parking. A gentlemen not 3 blocks from the arena was waving cars in for parking. I felt safe that he wasn’t scamming me because lots of other people were parking, getting out of their cars and getting tickets as we paid the man. He and his assistant were very busy! I forgot what I paid but it was between $10 and $20 for parking. Then we walked approximately 3 blocks back to the arena. It was a short walk. I really enjoyed the experience. You are going to love the energy. You are going to love the people. You are going to love the atmosphere. You’re going to love the electric energy even if you are not a b ball fan. See you at the next game and Welcome to Skytown!!😆😆😆

First, parking is across the street, lot A. It costs $25 per vehicle and there are plenty of workers there to guide you. There are other parking lots around, which may be cheaper. There are elevators, but my husband and I took the stairs to avoid the line. They have a policy on purses in the arena, they can't be larger than 4×6. I saw women with purses the size of a fanny pack, so pack smart before you leave ladies. Our seats were on the floor which I would not recommend. The seats were comfortable, they are about the size of a folding chair and they had a cushion. If people in front of you are standing but you don't want to, you won't be able to see the performers. The bathrooms were pretty good. I went twice and never waited in line. Plenty of soap and paper towels were available. The reason they received a 4 is because of the audio. It was so loud most of the time, but during other parts of the show, it was hard to hear the singers. They turned the TV screens on during the 3rd act, I didn't understand that. Overall, it was a nice arena.

Went to see Comedy Fest with Cedric, Deon, Eddie. The comedians were great; the organization of the arena was not. My good friend parked on the street, which was perfect as it was free and we're able-bodied to walk to the arena, so we didn't deal with the absolute horror of parking in the garages. I could only walk by and shake my head as the traffic continued to build. The line to get to the entrance of the building to security and ticket checking was around the building. I couldn't believe an arena of this magnitude allowed for such a state of unpreparedness and lack of organization. We remained in that line for over 45 mins in the cold and drizzling rain. Also, guests did not help out bringing large unnecessary bags to an event. Let's learn to keep it simple, ladies, just a phone/keys/ID/CC. Inside of the arena was fine, with no issues for the most part. Screens were a bit small and the sound wasn't too great. Exiting was also unorganized. Fun fact, this place was such a mess, my friend and I were able to go right through security and to our seats without getting tickets checked. Amazing!

I really enjoyed this venue because it was smaller, so it made for a slightly more intimate setting compared to a typical arena concert. I loved that our front row seats had lots of leg room and some little tray tables for drinks. However, the lines outside the venue were pretty poorly managed; many people were pushed into a corner door that only had 2 security scanners so the line moved very slowly. We realized other people going to the door further in were getting in quicker, so even though we were only 15 or so people out, we bailed on our "line," went to the other door, and basically walked right in because there were an additional 6 scanners inside, hence why it was so much faster. They didn't do a good job telling people where to go, and I think there were some people who didn't get in on time for the show because we just barely made it after all that. Beside that crowd management issue, the venue itself is nice.

I've been to a couple basketball games here. They have concerts also but I've never been to one of those. It's a nice venue with plenty of concessions and restrooms. It's easy to get to and the parking is close. The parking garage is connected to the venue via some sky bridges which is nice if it's raining out. Parking was $25 for the basketball games. The sky bridge is on the third floor of the parking garage. My public service notice for this venue would be to avoid the front row of the 200 level section as there is a metal coping on top of the glass that is right in eye sight of the court. You have to adjust your seating position to either look over it or under it for a full view of the court. You would get a better view in row B.
