I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Shoreline Sightseeing Boat Tours, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the captivating Architecture Tour to the breathtaking Skyline Lake Tour, every moment was filled with wonder and excitement.Our tour guide on the Architecture Tour was not only knowledgeable about the city's rich architectural history but also kept us entertained throughout the journey with fascinating anecdotes and trivia. It truly enhanced the entire experience.I was pleasantly surprised to find blankets for sale on the architecturetour, ensuring that even on cooler days, guests can stay cozy and comfortable while taking in the sights.Additionally, the variety of beverages available for purchase onboard is impressive, ranging from wine and various alcoholic drinks to hot chocolate. This thoughtful touch adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience, allowing guests to sip on their favorite drinks while cruising along the beautiful shoreline.Overall, Shoreline Sightseeing Boat Tours exceeded my expectations in every way. We booked the fireworks architecture tour. This basically starts right after the sunset tour and ends with a city-side view of the fireworks from the water. This happens Wednesdays and Saturdays from memorial day to labor day.

Lane was our guide and he was awesome!

I'd recommend this to anyone local or visiting. Visitors schedule this as an early activity, as you'll see a lot of places on the tour that you may wish to explore!

You get a really good look at the city and pick up quite a lot of history. I grew up here and still picked up lots of information that I didn't know.

We got rained on while in line but as soon as we boarded ponchos went out. Hot drinks aren't terribly expensive (cider and hot chocolate were both hot and run about 3 bucks)

The tickets cost me about as much as the dinner we ate beforehand. If I had to choose the nice dinner or the tour it would hands-down be the tour.

I'll be doing this again, maybe the lakeside one.

It's just another boat ride. No music, no bells and whistles. There is nothing for the kids to do other than cry and whine. No souvenirs on board. No ice cream, cotton candy, Italian, and sausage combos to eat while on the boat ride. Hey, I'm a visitor, and I want to experience the taste and sounds of Frank Sinatra's kind of town, Chicago !! . No, I don't want to hear the sounds of gunfire or police sirens. Tour guide should try to engage the crowd. Heck, at these prices, it should be expected. They don't take pictures of the people riding the boat with the Chicago skyline. I'm pretty sure there are plenty of freelance photographers that could earn a living taking pictures of us...
