Worst store manager and shopping experience of my life. Seems on par with other reviews that staff just make rules up to be difficult whenever they feel like it. Manager refused to return a gift I received because, on the gift receipt, a free product was given to the purchaser. I sort of laughed because, since when is that the case anywhere?? She told me I needed to call my friend in South Dakota and have her mail me the free gift she received (lipgloss or a couponāI have no idea) in order to process the return. I said I would just take store credit but she said she could only let me shop around with the store credit⦠not take it home with me on a gift card. And even so, she wouldnāt give the full value so Iād get next to nothing. It was seriously so wild this story she was spinning. I even called the customer service line while I was in the store, who said āthatās not our policy, sheās not correct, just tell the manager she can process the return as-is, we never ask for the free items back.ā But the manager refused, saying that this store was different. I ended up getting more from the customer service agent bc she felt so bad for what was happening, but as I walked out the manager said I got screwed bc āI was going to give you $200 for those, so, you got a worse deal.ā Just SUCH bizarre behavior. I ended up filing an even worse report the next day with a different department that escalated it and the agents on the phone, again, just couldnāt believe this behavior. There was 1 particular female security guard who followed me around room to room, she was asking questions as though she was a Victoria's Secret employee and not hair a security guard, which I found strange. She was telling me about sales, handed me a shopping bag, asking me about my undergarment preferences, etc.
Carolina did a great job fitting me for a bra, while she was busy her teammate Rhonda tried to help bring a few more styles for me. I wanted to try on 2 different styles and get out of there.
Rhonda was a hot mess! She kept telling me all the names of the bras and writing down checks on a piece of paper whether or not I had tried them on; this would have been helpful but really I just wanted to try on 1 strapless and 1 plain T-shirt bra. She brought me 4 different styles and went on and on about each one, but they obviously we're not what I was looking for. I specifically wanted to purchase the particular bra they used to correctly size me, and I kept asking her what collection that was, she finally says, "Oh hunny it's Body by Victoria." And then walks away and doesn't return with the bra. I had to leave the fitting room and the cashier saw me looking confused and finally pointed me in the right direction. She NEVER actually asked what I needed help with and if I hadn't had 10 years retail experience I would have no idea what "on the floor" means. Next, I walk to the register at the front of the store and I over here this same lady helping another woman. Once they finish talking, I tell her I am there for an exchange, can she help me find my size? She says, Okay, this a a Body bra and tshirt bra., (okay, never asked), she says, so what do you need? I say an exchange. She says, "I don't have the tshirt bra, I have body bra Do you want me to measure you?" I said, no i just need a different size. I know what sice i am, I tried it on." Then she takes out a bra in a completely DIFFERENT color than I have. WTH!? This was the most inconvenient, nonsensical, low fruit customer service experience I have ever had.
