Silver Dollar Fairgrounds — Attraction in Chico

Rude people. I was dropped off there after being rescued from the fire in Paradise Ca, we were told it was the place to go to for those being rescued from the fire. Shortly after arriving there, I was rudely told, I had to leave, everyone that had been rescued were told to leave. Fortunately my daughter in law who also fled the fire was able to come pick me up at the fairgrounds. I could not believe how uncaring the people were that worked at the fairgrounds, most people who were there were like me, were in shock at what had just happened and did not need to be treated as homeless tracents, and be treated rudely. We went to the fair tonight. It was the last night and we went in the evening so we could catch the fireworks 😁. It was a good experience. My daughter and I did an old-time photo, which was so fun! We went on a few rides, got some air brushed tattoos, and a treat. My daughter wanted a chocolate chip cookie, which is what I thought we ordered. It turned out to be fried chocolate chip cookie dough balls (see picture). We took them back and exchanged them for ice cream because the dough inside was raw with a weird taste and the outside was tough and rubbery. If I could give these guys zero stars I would unfortunately I have to give them at least one to leave a review. I would highly suggest skipping out on this ridiculously over priced event and just take a road trip to somewhere like six flags or Santa Cruz beach boardwalk because your basically paying the same price for a one day pass. It's absolutely infuriating and absurd that low income family's can't even afford to participate because of the ridiculous prices and the fact that they always are here at the end of the month.
