For the past five years, I have been renting tools from this store without encountering any issues. However, during my last two visits, I experienced a discrepancy with the rental department regarding a $50 cleaning fee. Despite returning the machines in a clean condition, the new staff attempted to impose this fee. Today, when I rented a tiller, Juan, an employee, insisted on charging the cleaning fee because he found some dirt on the front wheel. When I requested access to a hose for a brief moment to remove the dirt myself, he refused, opting to charge me instead. Consequently, I returned the tiller, purchased a bottle of Windex, and cleaned the dirt off in less than a minute. While I acknowledge the importance of returning equipment in a clean state, as I did with my machine, it appears that some staff members may be unnecessarily imposing fees on customers. From now on I'll use the Bedford Park store exclusively because the employees are better trained and more courteous.

I will like to write my review based on the experience I had personally with the garden department; my husband and I went to get some flowers and materials for our garden project. We needed help finding some plants that were on sale the week before. After looking everywhere, we saw an associate and decided on asking for help, he was AMAZING his name was Mike and he went above and beyond to assist us. I have went back twice since my husband and I loved his service, thank you Mike our tree is thriving!!!..

the hiring manager fabricates job offers job interviews and availability to keep her salary high posting fake job applications making the company seem like it's growing. When in reality most of your staff is under trained or not trained at all to be in the positions they hold and if they are trained properly they're so overworked they underperform these companies Don't Care about Us.

Had a great experience dealing with the professionals during my design and purchase of my complete kitchen renovation. However, getting everything delivered, has been a nightmare. First all of my items were supposed to come together to avoid any issues with my paid for delivery's. My first shipment arrived with not problems, except all the items were not there, no worries let's call and get the other pieces. Their phone systems are horrible, the call menu's are straight forward but the ring times are atrocious and not done properly. You should not have to listen for a full minute of the phone ringing before someone picks up, only to ask you which department you want, then patch you through to that department only to have the phone ring again for ever, then go into voice recording that all associates are busy at this time. I've sat on hold, sat waiting for associates and been hung up on so many times it's ridiculous with this store. 30 Minutes waiting for Deliveries to pick up, 1hr to get to someone who could finally get things moving, then to find out that everything they worked out really was a "plum of smoke and mirrors". I tried for 3-days to get someone on the phone, finally Tuesday July 5th I was able to get someone to finally get my deliveries worked out, in which they delivered the wrong cut's on my counter-top 10' which I cannot fit my car, hence the reason for the delivery requirement, but now they say they will deliver, but at their convenience of course, so another day goes by, no call thus far, and I've got contractors waiting to install my countertops and finish up my kitchen. What a joke of a HomeDepot. My next course of action is BBB and see if things...

Avoid going in this store!!! Went in looking for a dehumidifier last night 6/22/2017. Approached the "Customer Service" desk where two women employees where speaking to each other at a register and did not acknowledge my presence, even after being like two three feet from them. I left the desk and started walking through the aisles, I asked two other employees, they did not know where they were located nor did they make an attempt to assist me in finding them. After skimming through the aisles and not being able to locate them, I decided to walk out, thinking maybe Home Depot doesn't sell any dehumidifiers. Once in my car, I decided to check the website, wish I would have done that first since the website provided aisle number. There is a Target next to this Home Depot, I went in there and gave them my money instead. I have never experienced bad service at any Home Depot until last night. I'm new to the area and this is the closest Home Depot to me I will drive the extra miles to go to...

THE WORST HOME DEPOT. For the following reasons:

When I place pickup orders, it takes 8-24 hours for the store to have my order ready for pickup. 2.The items I need from the store that show available online are out of stock 95% of the time. Person working in the paint dept didn't correctly match my paint, and they didn't have the machine properly mix it before I purchased it. I had to tell him to do it. When I do curbside pickup, it takes associates more than 15 minutes to come out to my car. The last time I just ended up going in after waiting in my car for 15 minutes. There was no one in line and 3 out of the 5 associates were talking to each other at the pickup registers.

I live 3 minutes away and choose to go to Broadview now. I did a pickup order with them today and they had it ready within 20 minutes. I did a pickup order with Cicero on Monday, and I had to call them the next day because it still wasn't ready.

This is an ongoing issue for the last 3 years...
