I was extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with this salon and their quality, integrity, and service. When I came in 9/26/24 I asked for gel french manicure. I loved my nails but experience and service was nothing special. The price for a gel manicure with shaping of my natural nails was the same cost as acrylics. I found that strange right off the bat but didn’t mind it. My nails lasted only 3 weeks before the polish cracked and therefore my natural nail cracked. This was extremely disappointing as I had grown my nails out for months to get a gel manicure. I expected a high-quality product would be used on my natural nails and not low quality because that clearly can ruin natural nails. I didn’t think too much of it at first, I came in three weeks later to get another manicure. On 10/17/24 my experience was horrific. I requested a french manicure with red tips. I had requested my cracked nail to be fixed, which was covered with a thick layer of acrylic that was never filed down. My nail tech asked me what color I wanted underneath my French and I told her “whatever I had last time.” She told me that “I picked the color and we can’t pick for you because we don’t know what you like. We don’t pick your color”. I not once chose any color for my nails my first nail appointment. I don’t know if this was a lack of communication with my first nail technician or not, but no one ever asked me what color I wanted my nails. The nail technician was extremely sassy to me, rude, and started a bicker with me over my last experience. When she did not even witness this, but she still tried to prove me wrong. This was extremely unprofessional and awkward. Customer service is best performed with communication and her communication was terrible, along with everyone I had interacted with that day. so my nail tech from my first visit comes up and helps my current nail tech pick out a color. I offered to show a picture of my nails or do anything to help figure out what it was, but I still ended up just picking a new color myself. She does my base, she is extremely rough on the broken nail and hurts me. It’s her job to be gentle with hands? Once the acrylic was on, she did not file it down, and it is bumpy and thick, and many people have agreed. The quality is bare minimum. After my base was done she walks away and another woman comes and starts painting on my red tips. I decided to communicate and let her know that I wanted French tips. She looked up at me and said in a rude tone, “that’s what I’m doing”. Again with the lack of communication and rude employees. I was so uncomfortable my whole appointment and didn’t know what to do. The French tips are uneven, my nails shape is uneven, but I paid it and went on my way after the service. It is now not even two weeks later, and my polish is cracking. I now have ANOTHER broken nail, this is the worst experience I have ever had in service. my nails are ruined because of the quality of product being used on them and I am not even getting a good service. i paid for these nails, because I felt uncomfortable and like I had to. Please seriously consider going to this salon. my nails have been ruined by gel. Gel is supposed to HELP your nails. Absolutely ridiculous I will never go to an ambiance again and I hope someone reads this and considers this review if you take natural nail health seriously. Side note if anyone knows where else to go for nails let me...
Read morethe picture on the right is what i showed the nail tech. she had no comments ir concerns. she then started my nails and as she was about to do the red french tip she says “i’m going to do the french tip differently than the picture because i don’t like that one.” First red flag. i told her i wanted my nails like the picture and she still did her own version of the french tip (literally just a line of red across the top of the nail) and showed me. i repeated that i wanted the french tip like on the picture and she kind of sighed and fixed it. not a big deal so far, because she ended up doing what i asked her. after she finished the red, she started to apply clear coat on ONE nail. confused, I asked if she was going to do the nail art? she said “well i already put the clear coat on?” at this point im confused because didn’t i show her a whole reference picture where the main focal point is the white flowers??? i reminded her that I shower her the picture with the flowers i wanted and that i will need her to do them. she took the clear coat off and did one flower and showed me. the first version she did was even worse than the one you see in the picture. i told her that i truthfully didnt like it and if she could try again. she said “well its not going to look exactly like the picture.” well thats fine if its not an exact replica but it still has to look good! she didn’t seem to be budging so i asked her if someone else could help her do the nail art. she ignored me and tried redoing the flower herself. it looked exactly the same. at this point i’d been in the store for 3-4 hours and O was ready to go home, so i decided i would just complain to the front desk and ask them to not charge the $10 for the nail art which i think is fair. when i get to the front and express my concern, showing them the reference picture and how badly the nail art looked, they kept repeating that i should’ve said something to the tech. i did! i even showed her the picture before we even got started. SHE should’ve said that she wasn’t able to do that kind of flower BEFORE agreeing to do it! they refused to take off the $10 charge and when i pressed them, suddenly they “never charged the nail art in the first place” so the total didn’t change. they were basically playing and lying to my face over $10. frustrated, i just paid the original price. they said they would schedule me again the next day to have someone fix the nail art. i didn’t show up because i had already spent so much time and money on a product that i didn’t like, and the solution was to drive 20-30 mins so they can do more mediocre work? bye. their store looks fancy but you’re better off at a different store for the price...
Read moreHighly disappointed. TOTAL BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM HERE:
I came in for a manicure and some nail extensions. At the desk the lady said it would $60 for a full set, with acrylics, and chrome color. But when I sat in the chair, after the technician started, she said it would an extra $10 for shape, and an additional $20 for chrome. I decided not to do chrome, but when she finished with the gel, it was lumpy, and inconsistent. On top of that, she didnt do the manicure. When I called after I left and I realized the subpar job they did, the lady on the phone said it would have been an additional $10 for the manicure. What the hell kind of bait and switch job are they doing here. If it would be 100.00 for a full set, with a manicure, extensions, and chrome tell me that so I know. You should never find out in the chair while the technician is working on you.
AND she did a bad job. The shape is fierce, but the gelis lumpy and poorly done. And I hate the color, which is on me, but for $70+, is it too much yo ask to know a little color theory and say its not a great color for my skin, especially when you have a similar skin tone. to make it worse, they quoted me $36 for a color change, but given the b.s.how could i even trust it wouldnt be another 70.00 just to fix that. Just really subpar service.
Also,I went on a monday, because I hate crowds. While the technician worked on my nails, with at least 7 other empty chairs available, they sat this poor girl right next to me. I could tell she was just as uncomfortable as I was, but it was nice to hear about her vacation and the fireworks not that I gave two-cents.
It was such an uncomfortable, and underwhelming experience. I tried to treat myself and all I got was disappointment from this "spa" and ambiance is a farce. The ambiance is quite, uncomfortable, and other people's business.
This was the first and last time...
