Currito Hyde Park — Restaurant in Cincinnati

I've never seen someone fake smile and roll there eyes so hard at the same time. Even while I'm saying thank you. The manager got mad at me for asking her to sub tofu for black beans since they didn't make more beans.

I come several times a month for years, and have been nothing but friendly. They were completely out of black beans except for a small scoop. This is my main protein that I order everytime. I was willing to wait but she said that they have been to swamped to even make them.

I understand your busy but that's not a reason to just not make more. I'm vegan so I'm limited on the protein options. I shouldn't have to pay an upcharge because you didn't prep something.

The curry beans have dairy in them. Straight chickpeas and edamame is a very hard protein in large quantities. If you know your out of a food item it would be best to inform people before they order. They also forgot to give me my tortilla and when I asked for it she rolled her eyes at me again and handed it to me. She didn't say anything to me.

To add to an already uncomfortable situation I found a big hunk of meat in my food. I didn't saying anything because how she was already treating me. I just tossed the rest of it out.It pretty infuriating since I've haven't eaten meat...

Today I tried Currito for the 3rd time. The first two times were good, not great, but it's close to my office and quick so I tried it again. today I got their Superfood Salad which is definitely the best thing I've gotten there so far. ALTHOUGH, I'm giving it 2 stars because of a heinous policy they have there and I don't think I'll be returning.

I got my order to go and wanted a water. I asked for a regular sized cup (instead of the tiny cups they provide for water) so I can put a lid on it so I could take it in the car without spilling. The cashier said no, and that she would have to charge my $3.89 for a WATER. She then got another worker to verify that yes, I would have to pay $3.89. The water cups are CLEAR and you could watch me fill up the water if you wanted. I've NEVER had an issue with getting a normal sized cup with a lid for water at any other restaurant. This is actually the second time I've asked for this at Currito but the first time they finally said, OK, after making it a big deal. This time, they were adamant that I would either pay for a regular fountain drink, or use their tiny water cup. I would gladly pay you 25 cents for a cup if you needed me to, but I think this is...

Only gave 1 star because I can not give 0. The manager that is at this location is terrible. She needs to be taught proper, basic etiquette before getting a job in customer service especially as a manager HOW EMBARRASSING!! I walked in to pick up my to go order and was standing with everyone else just waiting and the SO called manager looked at me asked for my name and told me to take a seat? Why in the world would I take a seat? I am standing with everyone else not talking and simply minding my own business. How about, " Hi what is your name, Oh your order isn't ready at the moment but we are working on it and it shouldn't be too much longer" Something that Not only that but then she looks at her co worker and says, " I AM SO TIRED ALREADY" I am so confused as to why she looked at me and just told me to take a seat? Corporate was informed of how I was treated. People like this need to several test before getting a manager position in customer service.... ONE...
