Decided to go somewhere, anywhere, that wasn't a Starbucks. A quick google search brought us to Hyde Perk. I'll be honest, the name alone reminded me of Central Perk from Friends, and that was really the determining factor. Anywho, the parking lot for the plaza was tiny, and having an SUV with a trailer was not working out. Then we found the sorta creepy back alley / drive through lane. The lady at the window was super nice, and handed us a menu. I had gotten a decaffeinated blended dirty chai, and my wife chose the 'Respect Your Elderberry'. I wasn't a fan of her drink, personally I like things a little sweeter, and she hated mine, due to the cinnamon content - but we each loved our own drinks. She noted that the tea bags are draw string sacks made on site... which was neat. Downside? While we weren't able to go in and scope the atmosphere, check the cleanliness of the bathrooms, or test wifi speeds, we did order one of their 'Made Fresh Daily' Banana Nut Muffins, and it was not delicious to either one of us. Overall, we recommend this place for its coffee and teas, but not for its pastry offerings. Maybe we just got a bad muffin, we're willing to give them another try in the future!

Met girl friends here after going to "the other coffee place" and there were no places to sit. The coffee, hot chocolate, chai coffee was awesome and price was good. Staff was so kind. We sat and caught up with each other fully enjoying the atmosphere. We'll be going here from now on. Easy to get to since we come from OH, KY and IN.

Such a cute place! LOTS of seating which is nice and it wasn’t too crowded. The vibe on a Sunday afternoon was more studying/quiet in computers which was exactly what I was looking for! A great place to study. Good coffee and it has a drive thru! Overall a great place and I will definitely come back to study again!!

The atmosphere is great for studying and doing work (very quiet, spacious, never seems to be too busy?), great location. They have a simple menu, definitely more geared to true coffee drinkers (not I, I'm more of a tea kind of person). But I LOVE their spring/summer mango matcha and will be looking forward to it if it comes back.

The service a hit or miss with me.. most of the time I get my drink without issue, however the last time i went felt the staff was a bit rude when they made a mistake -- I was the only person in line to order/placed my order and sat at one of their tables to work. Then several other customers came in, and one of those customers was inquiring about a sample of the same drink I ordered. Turns out they gave part of my drink for them to SAMPLE lol and 'forgot' that it was my order until I went back up to the counter after the other customers ordered AND received their orders, before me. I received no apology just a "ohh I was wondering why we had that drink already made" and laughed. I understand mistakes happen but just felt that the staff approach...

Oh this was such an excellent latte. Perfect temperature, super foamy top, with a delicate design poured in milk. Others in my group enjoyed their macchiato and chai lattes. Pastries were served on white marble tiles, which had a nice aesthetic sitting on the table made of a repurposed wood door. The six of us pushed together two tables to sit together in front of the fireplace. A few were too warm, but I'm always freezing so to me it felt just right. The unisex one-room restroom was clean, and had the most beautiful light fixtures. I was pleased to see a small supply of feminine hygiene products available. We spent about an hour enjoying our drinks and the...
