Wee Play Tots Park — Attraction in City of Beacon

Take my kids here all the time and they love it. However, I often find myself picking up garbage almost every time I am here and equipment is often broken by the older kids who should not be playing in the areas designated for younger children. I also hate to be that parent to intervene with other people's children but I have found on many occasions children as young as 3 left to their own devices (yes a parent was down in her car in the parking lot with her unattended 3 year old son running around- also for those that have not been here, you CANNOT see the playground from the lot!) Lastly, why can we not get the bathrooms operational? Is it really that much more cost effective to park disgusting port-o-potties outside of the forever locked bathrooms? I LoVe how this park is the greatest community invention... Whomever came up w/the idea must be a parent, godparent, aunt, uncle, grandparent or teacher... Basking in the joy of children having fun is a great sight to possess and this park's creation do just that... I live in the city and wish We had a park like Wee Play Tots... I do recommend adding a few tots' toys designed for tots whom are bigger than the average size for their age... My baby as well as a few other children did struggle a little w/a few toys due to them being the age of 3 and mistaken for 5 and 6 years via their size... The toddler area of the park has been recently updated this past summer. It’s completely fenced in which is great when keeping an eye on multiple children. The floor is made of soft rubber mat like material which is great for those who are still working on walking and coordination. Just outside of the toddler area there is a park for older children with slides, swings and a jungle gym for some climbing.
