First and foremost I must say how disappointed I was in my experience with the customer service. My wife ordered two takeout orders of drunken noodles and paid extra for chicken and shrimp and specifically requested no vegetables in our food as we have an allergy to certain ones. When she arrived home we realized both our orders were filled with vegetables so she called the restaurant to see what can be done to rectify the matter. Initially she was told it can be remade but they will only provide us with the noodles and we were expected to take the meat from the first order which as I mentioned was filled with things we were allergic too. I literally was in disbelief that was even an offer. Once my wife declined the offer and asked to speak to a manager they said they would remake the order, but only one of the two orders not both, she declined that as well then she Was finally told both orders could be remade however we had to return the incorrect orders and the chef had to see it in order for us to get the correct orders. We drove back to beacon which is 30 minutes away from our home and we had to wait an additional 20 min for the order to be prepared. After retrieving the correct orders they literally picked out our chicken and shrimp from the incorrect order and put them into the new order. The vegetable seeds were in the new order and the chef must have confused the baby corn as shrimp. The take out experience was horrific and does not exemplify good customer service. If this is any indication of future experiences with this establishment I suggest you go to golden...
Read moreI've been a frequent visitor to this place for almost 15 years. The consistency of food and service is exacting. It's always the same!
In my time sitting here I've seen some of the most demanding customers enter for sitting or picking up. I hope that at some point they were able to manage their stress. I'm not that demanding but I do ask for alterations in a few ways. I like my cheesecakes cold with a fork instead of hot with a spoon. Sometimes depending on the day medium hot is more hot 🔥 which I'm ok with. I also like low salt. This place is protein diverse and vegetarian friendly.
I've also never used a service to do take out. I sit or pickup myself as I'm right around the bend. Food containers don't always let the steam escape properly and even a short delivery doesn't quite replicate the delicacy and simplicity of this food.
This place is not the most or least expensive place on the street and the standard wines are good as a glass or bottle. I would add more stars if I could to this review. Talk to B or L and tell them I...
Read morenot ready for prime time. Bland interpretation of a complex cuisine. They are always busy, though I am not sure why.
Issues:
The acoustics of brick and concrete ceiling make dining loud and unpleasant.
The help is scatterbrained: no less than 4 people came over, which confused them, I suppose. The waitress completely forgot my daughter's entree. Instead, she asked if we were ready for the check, and I said "my daughter hasn't had her entree yet," but the waitress said "OK," and walked away - i.e., she wasn''t even listening.
The waitresses don't know the menu, or how to pronounce anything on it. I ordered gaiyang, a national dish of Thailand for centuries, and the waitress had no idea.
We sat that way for the whole meal, with one plate on the table, and a wine glass aching for a refill that was never offered. I asked to speak to the manager, but they all looked very confused, and said there wasn't one there, though they didn't ask why.
Better off going to Thai Pepper in Fishkill. Way more authentic, and much...
