Let me first start by saying this, I don’t like doing this. I’m in customer service and the truth is customer service is a lost art now. It’s actually a joke. My wife and I walked in, greeted by a gentleman and he said Cody will will help you. great, who is Cody? So we walk over to the guy just sitting down at his desk and I ask if he’s Cody and he says yes. You would think he would get up and introduce himself to his customers, but no he did the exact opposite and just sat there on his tablet playing his game. Terrible right away. But I let it go. We start asking questions and Cody answers questions without even picking up his head from his game. So a customer is asking questions, ready to buy 2 phones for himself and his wife and this guy can’t even look his customer in the eye. Hands down pathetic, and the sad truth is Cody I can’t put all of the blame on you, your managers and leadership team don’t train you and how your supposed to be in the customer service field.
So will we ever go back to that store, not a chance. My wife and I just spent $250 online for 2 phones. I would love for you guys to pull the film. Today is July, 26th and we probably walked in around 6:30, 6:40pm and I would love for you guys to use this as a coaching experience so the next person who walks in can maybe have a little bit better of an experience than we did and maybe spend money at your store to keep the lights on. We drove to Henrietta on Jefferson after and met a young lady who Could not have been more professional and informative. Complete 180 experience from your store, truth is I would have loved to have bought from her but I guess Apple does not give you enough phones and different options to actually even buy even if we wanted to.
I’m super disappointed guys, and Cody (I’m sure he’s a nice person) needs to understand that he is in customer service! Without customers, he does...
Read moreAbsolutely awful. About to cancel my spectrum mobile before it’s even activated. SIM cards lost in shipping purgatory. Called the customer service line who told me to just go into the brick and mortar location and pick up a sim there. Sat in spectrum for 1 hour and then was told by the sales associate there was nothing he can do because the sim is already tied to my phone and he cannot give me a new SIM card. Called back to spectrum to confirm this and they once again said no you can walk in and get a sim no problem. Told him that i just tried that and was told that is not possible. Guy on the phone then said oh well I guess it’s not possible then, and hung up on me. Absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and on top of that 2 hours wasted. Guess I will continue to pay more for my Verizon plan because at least they can handle a simple sim swap if it’s...
Read moreOn October 29, I took my internet modem and DVR box from my seasonal cottage to the Canandaigua Spectrum store to turn them in and cancel the cottage account for the winter. They did not scan or check the equipment numbers and instead of cancelling the cottage account, they canceled the account for my winter house that was set up earlier this month. When I checked the receipt they gave me I noticed that the equipment numbers were for the modem and Xumo box I still have at the winter house rather than the equipment I turned in. This also resulted in my internet and tv service to the winter house being cancelled and it took two hours on the phone with Spectrum to get that reinstated. I am not sure how I will be able to convince Spectrum that the equipment for the cottage has already...
