Just finished watching Deadpool there. Wow, just wow. The theater that was "redone" is simply new seats (that are pretty good) and new carpets (that are nasty already), same layout and no thrills. Doesn't hold a candle to the new theaters that are popping up on Long Island.
With that being said, my real issue with the place is the staff. Went to a 715PM showing and found the lobby and theater filthy. Just garbage and popcorn everywhere. On a Thursday night when there was a large gap in time between showings, there is no excuse to not pick up and vacuum. At one point, a customer goes to the group of workers mulling around the entrance and complained that one of the theaters was disgustingly dirty. One female employee says that she will go clean it up right away and the customer returns to watch the movie. Immediately after the customer left, while i was waiting to order popcorn, the same employee says "I am definitely not cleaning anything." and doesn't leave the counter area.
After I got my popcorn that was already prebagged and cold (at 7PM before any evening movie started), I went to my seat to discover that my theater as well was not cleaned. Bags, drinks, and popcorn everywhere. Dirt on all the seats and a general feeling of filth. To the credit of some employees, during the previews, one employee cleaned two rows of seats before giving up and disappearing.
Overall, the theater needs to be cleaned badly and the employees (all teenagers) need better management to ensure the basic items of warm popcorn and clean up is done regularly. The new seats are comfortable but for the same price of other near by movie theaters, Id suggest going to AMC at Roosevelt Field which just reopened or...

That's a good thing.
I went to a 10:45 viewing of Black Panther. There is an average size community parking lot that's connected to retail shops like Staples so I assume on nights it may be hard to find a spot but there's local street parking too.
The theater is a 1 fl building with a total of 6-7 rooms. There are some differences in which room you get because the reserved seats may be side spread apart or close. Unfortunately, I had the latter.
It's still a nice theater with a great many friendly staff. I tried to work my movie pass and I'm sad it didn't work because they added a new movie time and it wasn't updated on the app...not amc fault but heads up for the future.
Place is generally clean and the service is average. However, the management seems confused on certain register protocols. Reference wise, I wanted the large popcorn and icee combo but there was a mistake and I received a soda cup instead. To "correct" it they charged me extra for icee instead of voiding the original transaction and recharge me.
I didn't let that bother me. I enjoyed the trailers and the movie.
Fair warning, if you finish the movie after 12, it's a ghost town behind the counter. The lights dark so it's hard to see your way to the bathroom, you don't see any staff and they clog the beverage machines đŁ.
Though I rated it three stars, I would visit again because all in all, it was a...
Read moreWent with my 2 friends (all over 21) to see a r rated movie after purchasing tickets online. When we arrived we scanned our tickets and went to buy popcorn. We never were told what theater to go into for our movie so we asked and the people working (all men) seemed confused and annoyed by the question..weird. We then got into the theater and were sitting there for over 30 mins watching the coming attractions. We were the only people in the theater. A male worker came into the theater and was just staring at us for a couple mins. We didnât think much of it until he walked up to us and accused us of not being over 21. When we said we were he asked for the IDs and we showed him but he was weird. We felt uneasy and weâre debating leaving since we were the only ones in theater. We just had a weird feeling. We walked out of the theater to stand in the lobby where they were talking about us. The whole thing felt just weird and like something was going to happen. Then again a male worker came up to us asking if we were over 18 this time and he said âjust say you areâ. That was enough and we left. Do not recommend at all especially for women. Nothing outwardly bad was happening but you canât ignore a gut...
