Long Island Laundry Company — Attraction in City of Glen Cove

I gotten my clothes washed here a few times . First few times were great. I handed in my laundry and it was washed by Cynthilia(worker) on 6/7/24. Upon receiving it I noticed 5 of my Nike Men’s shorts missing. I called the lady and she informed me she did my laundry and nothing was misplaced and I have to look for it ……

These shorts cost $50-$60 each.

Despite supporting this business I’m at a loss of a few hundred dollars. I had switched to this place because the same situation was going on at my last place. Idk if the workers are just taking items out or being careless with their job but regardless it’s coming at the consumers expense.

I encourage anyone that uses this place to check their batch throughly to see if they are missing items as well. I really hope my situation can be resolved as I contacted the owner Anthony regarding this matter.

To top it all off my white shirts came back with dirt stains on them. They were cleaner when I handed them in.

The owner seems to only cares about google reviews and not actually doing proper business. I was nothing but polite and just wanted a resolution. Now I have to deal with a police report missing clothes and no compensation. Keep doing...

The Long Island Laundry Co. is an amazing place! I have t had a washer and dryer for a few years and I have to admit — they do a way better job if it then I could ever have done— from crisp clean sheets and towels — folded perfectly and my clothes never shrink or dull! And I finally stayed taking delivery and am thrilled. So what I would say is that LILC does the best job in the world! Ps I lived in Manhattan for years and everything was grey— so depressing but that never happens here!!!! Anthony runs LILC top of the line for very fair prices.
