Would not recommend to anyone I care about or even my worst enemy. Horrible communication and medication management. It took almost a full month to get medication after being prescribed during my first appointment. I called the front desk to ask if I should come to my 3 week follow up because I had no meds, thus nothing to follow up about and they told me I should come to the appointment to watch the provider do the prior auth so I know she was doing it. Wild concept - she could just do it? I sent a portal message as I was nearing the end of my bottle because the medication was not listed under the option to refill. For a month I heard nothing. I finally asked my PCP to prescribe instead. Come to find out (from my therapist at a different location who had MULTIPLE patients with the same experience) - my provider left and I was never informed. From the looks of other reviews, she was probably fired. Not only should all patients have been informed BY the Eden Center, they should have acknowledged the abysmal care we received while she was there. I sent the Eden Center a lengthy email with a timeline and screenshots of all my correspondence stating I felt the care I received, or lackthereof was unethical and I was glad this wasnât a live saving medication. I got a call from someone who, while I do think she had good intentions and I appreciate her helping with the transition of my records to my PCP - spent the entire call blaming anyone but the Eden Center itself. First, my primary care for using the wrong fax #. Then CVS because they should have overridden the prior auth with a coupon. Then me because I didnât call to follow up (youâre medicating me for adhd) Then the provider herself. She told me the provider emailed everyone and told them she was leaving and insisted she was an independent contractor and I could almost hear the âsorryâ shrug as if there was nothing they could do and they took no responsibility. I asked when my provider left and she told me âlet me look at my texts to see what day I met her outside with her stuffâ Between this and what Iâve heard from others, this place does not have your mental health as a priority. I expressed that I did not feel comfortable because of mine and othersâ experience and the answer was just âokayâ with no follow up questions. I appreciate the attempt to âsmooth things overâ as I was told on the phone, but I cannot morally let this go without letting others know. Plus, after this I took a look at the Eden Centerâs socials and was alarmed to see the owner proudly posing for photos with Dr. Oz - a known anti-science, unethical, misinformation spreading doctor. This is extremely alarming and I would advise you to seek alternative care as soon...
Read moreThe office staff is rude- this is a common complaint and the owner has done nothing? Also I've read comments from the owner saying "Thanks for the great review" when someone left a one star review!... HOW PROFESSIONAL IS THAT?? That's incredibly rude and speaks to the exact nature of the complaints! FIND ANOTHER PLACE! The staff was rude, and all they cared about was money. They did not help my son AT ALL. In fact he had a consultation and they billed the insurance close to $250 for 40 minutes and THEN said they needed another cash payment or they wouldn't see my son again! I mean WHAT!? That is absurd! I sent an email to talk to the owner and never heard back (no surprise). It has nothing to do with money for me, I could easily pay. I specifically asked if the visit was covered and if there was a copay and I was told yes it's covered. Then we were treated poorly and why am I paying more $ for services you got paid WAY TOO MUCH FOR!? As far as I could tell this place has no moral compass, they only care about money and milking insurance companies and clients. The attitude is very disrespectful and rude! My son poured his story out to a therapist and instead of talking about a plan moving forward to treat him, they said you need to pay more or don't come back. They also demand a credit card on file. My son didnt feel comfortable with the therapist, she was giving him uncomfortable looks and he felt extremely out of his comfort zone. My girlfriend had an awful experience here as well. Her daughter was made to feel worse about her situation and some trauma she had endured. This company really needs to reevaluate how they operate and treat patients-clients, and think about morals, respect, transparency, and empathy. Hopefully the owner takes notice and makes changes. Finding a therapist is difficult and adding this stress could easily deter people from seeking the help they need. Luckily my son found an amazing therapist (elsewhere) who makes him feel worthy and accepted, important and special, and a company that has set their patients as the priority and not money. I think every company deserves a chance to mitigate and make changes for the better. Hopefully they take the opportunity to do so.    Read moreI've now gone several days without my medication. I requested my refill ahead of time and called everyday after. I was told my doctor would do it that night and was told the same thing three days in a row. Finally on Friday I insisted that another provider fill my prescription since mine who is out of country is not reliable at this time and the office said they would have another provider send it over immediately. They never did and now I'm going days without medication that I need. My anxiety is out of control and I have not slept in 3 days. This is gross negligence.
It's a true shame since my provider has been wonderful so far. I am questioning if the office staff have lied to me as I have never experienced this here before but I was also told multiple times that they seen my request already in the system so I'm sad to say the whole practice has failed me.
I will update my review when new information is available.
Update: My prescriptions have finally been sent over. I will be keeping the one star review for the time being as this negligence is unacceptable. Most people who have their lives greatly improved by proper medication hold great fear for this exact scenario so I think it's fair to give people the heads up that this happened to me and I suffered because I was ignored, lied to and not taken care of.
I would finally like to point out that all the times I called and expressed my concern of being without my proper medication the staff seemed like they could not care less which makes me wonder how often they do this to others? Regardless having gone days without sleep I'm not changing my review. Maybe after some well needed rest and after I discuss this with my provider or any office staff that reaches out to me I will update accordingly.
I am a very reasonable person and not here to trash talk this office. This review is solely focused on this singular experience and does not reflect the positive experience I have had prior to this instance.
I will still continue care here since I do think my doctor is great and considering the circumstances I don't think they were at fault here.
Upon deep thought I will adjust to a neutral three since everything up until this point has been great. I do hope someone will reach out to address this...
