Serves me right for not spending the extra 40min and driving to Apple which I always do. I was just on a time crunch. The charged me $430 for a new screen for my Apple 15 Pro and gave me back my phone, and the camera was not functioning correctly. Clicking different parts of screen open different parts. Huge delay on audio on phone calls.
When opening camera it starts at 2x zoom, will not go to .5x and Macro does not work. I went to store who said camera was broken when I dropped it. I don’t think it was but it leaves one of two options
they replaced a $430 screen knowing camera was broken as well and didn’t tell me
they broke camera during screen replacement.
Asked to speak w his boss and gave me a corporate number and I’ve been transferred 5 times on phone for 2hrs and finally someone from VERIZON was extremely helpful. Not Asurion, certainly not Ubreakifix, VERIZON.
He said he could not fix it. He was actually quite short and rude.

Following day my mother goes to drop off the phone. She called me because the price was not the same as Nick and Dylan stated when I called the day prior. KNOWING they needed to replace the front AND back, the only told me the pricing for the glass. This was upsetting. Suddenly the cost was an additional $100 plus tax. The rating for the 4 stars is because of the incorrect quote. I called explaining what I needed and at no point did anyone bother to tell me that the cost of the back was $100 additional. Read more(9th gen) iPad was brought in due to a fall causing the tablet to go black. Tablet was taken in on 1/28/2025 and was informed by employee it would be taken care of that day. I returned on 1/28 before the store closed. It was at that time I was informed that my tablet had to be “sent out” for repair work. There was no communication from the store about this happening. Fast forward a week, I call and they said, “it’s on the way to their repair facility in Florida”. Seriously?! I called weekly for updates. Twice told, “Still in transit”. Like how long does it take to get to Fla? Fast forward today 3/13/2025, I call the store for an update. Much to my surprise, it is in the store ready for pick up. Employee stated they called me earlier in the week to let me know. NO. Nobody called, nothing in my call history supports their claim. I stopped in today to get it & it turns on and works. But, the screen protector I had in place is cracked in multiple areas. It was NOT this way when I dropped it off. Although I am grateful to have the tablet back in my possession, I am very unhappy with ubreakifux. Their communication is nonexistent and customer service is shit.
