After eating here twice, I am beginning to believe the establishment had a problem with my family's skin color with the way each time we were treated. I'd take the excuse that it was all because COVID issues, but after reading reviews and the maltreatment I received with my family...that's not flying.
First time we ate we had a male server who ignored us for a long period of time and taking all the other tables around us. We were the only black family there and we even were there before other tables he was serving. When we finally got our food, it was nasty and missing a lot of components. I got a chocolate cake just to get over the experience.
Turns out that was asking for too much because we got the bill back that included the cake but never got the cake until 20-25 minutes after asking for it.
First bad experience, thought nothing of it and thinking it was a bad day.
Second time we went, and this time it involved a manager. Food was great and server kept with us. But we noticed a manager going around to tables and asking them how their food was. Never came to our table. Maybe he forgot to ask us. Not a big deal to me, until one of my family members mentioned that the manager kept watching us. I didn't think anything about it until I began to notice it to.
Same family member of mine went to ask the server for an item they simply forgot and that manager was right on quickly in watching us. It made us uncomfortable the whole time as we ate.
I am not one to judge someone on their clothes either, but I can ensure you that when you're eating, you rather not see someone (the manager) have extremely dirty clothes on and walking over to tables and passing said dirt onto other tables where people were eating.
I don't know what is with establishments like this taking ill treatment to customers with dark skin, but I can ensure you we're not spending cash here again with the way things are running.
Also, note to women. When you use the stalls, don't use the one that's on the far left as you walk in. There's a giant gap and people can watch you use the toilet. Why is this not fixed I do not know, and very uncomfortable for everyone involved.
WARNING: THIS PLACE HAS BUGS IN PEOPLE'S FOOD NOW! DON'T...
Read moreI arrived at 5:40pm on 11/14/2020 and was seated promptly. I was seated along the front of the restaurant at the middle 4 top table with my 4 year old. 5 other tables were seated shortly after all around me. The waitress came to one of the other tables first and took their order at 5:50pm. Without acknowledging me she skipped over my table and took another tables order it is now 5:52. I realized I was in for an adventure so I decided to see where this would go. She managed to take the orders of two other tables around me without acknowledging me. At 5:58 my daughter had to go to the bathroom. Back at the table at 6:02 the wait continues. Finally at 6:10 another server acknowledges me and says she’ll be right back. 6:12 she is back and takes my drink and food order. My daughter at this point says she is thirsty (she was a good girl tonight :) ). 6:17 or drinks arrive. Meanwhile every other table around us has their food. 6:25 the server brings is a fruit plate we ordered while the first table gets up and leaves. 6:35 the server brings my biscuits and butter (no silverware yet LOL). The server tells me that the kitchen is backed up. I smile and say no problem (of course the kitchen is backed up with the orders of people that came after me). My food arrives at 6:43 and I mercifully ask for silverware. We eat as all the tables sat around us leave. The food was OK, but they were a little lite on the hash browns. My daughter and I leave around 7:00 pm.
I had about 10 different times to complain, but I was fascinated by how bad the service was so I kept my mouth shut. I left my server a $8 tip on a $20 bill. Why you ask? Because either the other server went out of her way to sabotage my experience (for whatever reason, I suspect she didn’t like the other server) or my server is so incompetent that she needs all the help in life she could get.
Takeaway from this is the manager on duty is a clown and the server that ignored me is a selfish ————-. My server I suspect wasn’t great, but didn’t...
Read moreWe have been here a few times, but this time was our first bad experience. We had a waitress who didn't seem to be happy with her job this day. After ordering, our food arrived, and a family of 4 were seated next to us. They brought in 2 dogs. A small lap dog and a Pitbull that were barking and growled as they waked in. I was thrown off by the restaurant allowing this, but most importantly, my daughters are allergic. When we asked to be moved, the attitude of the waitress went from bad to worse. As we were moving, I asked if allowing dogs in a restaurant was even legal. She ignored my question and asked if we wanted coffee refills. We responded "OK" to which she responded "OK" and then we never saw her again. I saw her speaking to another waitress and looking in our direction. I was thinking to myself that she was angry with us for wanting to move for what I thought was a good reason. A few minutes later, the other waitress approached, dropped off our bill, and asked if we wanted refill. I responded that we had already asked for refills, but the original waitress seemed to be angry with us. Her response made it clear that a conversation was had about the dog issue and our discomfort with it. I was told that the dogs were allowed by law and that there was nothing that they could do about it. She told me something about one of the family members had the dog because they were slightly blind. Listen, I understand a seeing eye dog, or a dog that assists with disabilities, but these are usually NOT Pitbull or lap dogs! Have enough respect to not insult my intelligence. Unfortunately we are not going to return. This could have been handled in a...
