Went here last night with my boyfriend and I think this might be the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life! Not exaggerating! We’re both vegetarians and I was in the mood for Thai food and it all sounded so good I couldn’t decide what to get so we ordered an appetizer, soup, two entrees and a desert and shared everything. We got the crispy tofu as an appetizer and it was served with a delicious peanut sauce, we finished it so fast and were so hungry I forgot to take a picture. For our soup we got the Tom Yum Jay, there are no words I could use to describe how amazing it was, I wouldn’t be able to do it justice if I tried, it was so incredibly flavorful and a MUST TRY! Every time I try a new Thai restaurant I always get Thai Yellow Curry and Pad Thai, so that is what we ordered for our entrees. The curry was phenomenal, the perfect consistency and we got it vegetarian style so it was loaded with delicious veggies. 10/10 would try again. The noodles in the pad Thai were perfectly cooked, not mushy or hard, just right! (I would like to note that the Tofu Pad Thai is listed under vegetarian dishes but the description says it contains shrimp so we got it without shrimp or egg.) I got a Thai iced tea to drink with dinner and it was REALLY good, perfectly sweet and refreshing. Then we got the mango sticky rice for dessert, which they arranged in a heart shape on the plate, SO CUTE! I took one bite and said to my boyfriend, “I don’t know how to describe this other than eating this made me feel… SAFE?” Amazing. We took a few bites of everything and were full because we ordered so much food so took the rest home for later and ate it this morning, it was still delicious as leftovers! We will 100% be back and I can’t wait to try something new and enjoy more delicious food!
Also would like to add that our server was so sweet and helpful with accommodating our vegetarian requests. We didn’t get her name...
Read moreI've heard a lot of great things about this place, I was recommended by a few of my co-workers to come here. I ended up picking up food on a Wednesday night after work, roughly gave a time of about 20 minutes. When I had called, I could barely hear the women taking my order due to the noise level, was surprised when I got there almost everyone had cleared out.
I settled for the Yellow Curry, medium spice, with Chicken. It was delicious, filled with tender potatoes, carrots, peppers, and loads of chicken. I opted for medium spice, but know for next time to tell them to crank it up! I ended up getting an extra side of white rice for $2. The meal itself was around $12, and it fed four comfortably.
I also ordered the Samosa's, which were not as expected. Anywhere else I've been to their Samosa's are enviting, filled with colorful vegetables and you can opt in for a meat of your choice. They unfortunately fell short here. I ordered them veggie style. They came filled with potato and onions, it was like eating mush, and it looked like mush too. Bland, if it wasn't for the sauce they come with on the side, it'd be tasteless.
I would have ordered more, I just couldn't pronounce any of the noodle dishes, and trying to over a phone would be difficult, so I stuck with what I know. Curry was filling, I'll stay away from the Samosa's. I will definitely be coming...
Read moreDecided to give this restaurant a try based off of the 4 star reviews. Overall a decent experience, really nothing to brag about nor would I return. We were the only table in there for dinner on a Sunday. The service was provided by a younger female who just didn’t seem to want to bother to provide actual customer service. Probably daughter or granddaughter of owners. Set down the menus without saying anything. No greeting, didn’t ask for drink order, kept walking away while we were trying to order food. Food was done well but again, nothing spectacular. Portions were single portions instead of the traditional sharing-portions for Asian cuisine. Crispy pork was listed as a specialty but was cut small which caused it to dry out. Fish curry, the fish was moist and cooked well but curry sauce was underwhelming. Chicken satay was dry and tasteless unfortunately. If the service was better I would probably give other menu items a go, but unfortunately the service ruined the dining experience. I have worked in the restaurant industry for over 10 years and I will tell you that if you trained your workers better and taught them the important of service and hospitality, you will probably get more customers...
