LAZ Parking - Washington Square Garage — Attraction in City of Rochester

Normally very good, quick in and out. But when there is a Geva Matinee you can be stuck for half an hour waiting to "escape" the garage. They don't have a good method of handling the mass of people exiting the garage and paying. Seems like they would be better served by selling the parking on entry, giving some sort of a slip and then having someone at the exit (with the gate up) taking the slips showing payment. Instead, once per month there is a line of people waiting to get out of the building and if you work downtown and use the garage daily it is a serious burden. The garage staff seems indifferent to the issue and just continues each month allowing this to continue with no effort being made to fix...

It's a garage. Cars go up, park; cars go down, and leave. That part is great.

The previous reason for my high rating no longer stands. Revision: No longer great to watch the 4th of July fireworks from. It's packed, people drive around the roof like tools while you're trying to watch fireworks, and overall dampen the whole experience.

I did park here yesterday for a Geva matinee (Saturday) performance and it was great. Option to pay ON THE WAY IN for the event made it easy in and out. Lots of room.
