UPDATE: It show alots in business when a customer has a bad experience and for than that business to gaslight them, telling them that they're wrong. The entitlement is horrible to see. Especially, since during our time there we even ask the lady we worked with since she has gotten to know us, what ring does she see for her, and she replied with, "oh, I don't know, everyone is different" and than, because I worked in bridal, ask, "okay, well, what is your favorite ring in the store" and again she replied, "oh, that changes everyday" and I tried again, "what is your day than" and she said, "I don't know". So, of course an customer who had a sales experience like that would feel unhelped and pushed out of the store. You should feel insulted, by the experience we had, and by the way you've chosen to gaslight a customer who wanted to buy from you that had a bad experience. No one needs to ask past customers how "great" you are because we were not treated with the same respect, we came because of you past reviews and were wildly disappointed, especially now!
Yesterday, my soon to be sister-in-law and I stopped in to get an idea of what she would want in a engagement ring. I have worked in the wedding industry for years and was extremely disappointed in the experience we were given here. We ended up "working" with a woman who showed little not no interest in us. The entire experience felt like she wanted us out the doors, and since it was her very first time looking at rings I ended up having to do her job for her because I didn't want my soon to be sister-in-law to feel like it was a complete waste of time. I'm suprised that the manager or anyone else working there didn't step in and take over. But the entire environment and atmosphere towards us felt unwelcoming. We probably didn't look like their typical clientele, I am multiracial and we both our a bit over weight, to them we are probably consider to be undesirable customers or a waste of their time, and we were treated as such. But little to everyone's knowledge, I was secretly shopping for my brother, and was ready to buy once she found a ring that she loved. We ended up going to a different jeweler right after and received a completely different and welcoming experience. She found her ring and after we left, my brother paid in full.
Everyone is a customer, even if their are "just looking" and even despite making a sale, everyone deserves to have a kind and welcoming experience and for this to be the very first place in her wedding experience is truly disgusting.
I will alway recommend brides and anyone, not...
Read moreI am local to the area and as an avid watch enthusiast, I had been interested in adding a Rolex to my collection. I visited N. Fox Jewelers back in September to talk to a salesperson about Rolex and their stores sales process. This is when I first met Matt who was an absolute pleasure to talk with. As a disclaimer, I am fully aware of the current retail situation with Rolex and I am more interested in forming a relationship with an AD in my area as opposed to just handing over my money to anyone on the internet. Today I went in to the store again to talk with Matt about inventory. Our conversation was interrupted when the owner Harvey Fox pulled Matt aside to inform him that he needed to end our conversation. Matt solemnly came back over to me and told me that the owner is pushing him to take care of other customers. I was told it is their 'busiest day of the year'. There were only two other couples being attended to by other sales reps. As a business owner myself, I felt extremely disrespected by how Harvey had not only treated me but also his own salesperson. This is not how one conducts business therefore I requested Matt to remove my name from their allocation list as I do not want to associate with this business. I feel that there was some prejudice against me, whether it be how I dress or how I look.
Harvey Fox's customer service practice is...
Read moreWhat a fantastic experience from start to finish. I reached out about a year ago to inquire about a watch, and had the pleasure of working with Chrissy from start to finish. She is kind, professional, responsive and an overall pleasure with whom to work. During that first call, she explained the process to me and put my name on their waitlist for this particular watch. Not even a year later, she called to tell me the watch became available and I picked it up last week. When I picked it up, I was offered water and Chrissy took her time to make sure the watch was sized properly, explained the mechanics of it, etc. She even gave me a couple of books they had in the store for my sons and a nice gift bag that included a water bottle, a treat and a thank you card. I live in the Syracuse area where there is no authorized dealer for this particular watch brand, but I love Saratoga Springs and it was no problem at all driving there a couple times to make this happen. Thank you Chrissy - I look forward to working with you again in the future. If you are within driving distance to Saratoga Springs and are in the market for jewelry, it gets no better than N. Fox Jewelers. It is a professional, classy operation without one iota of smugness. I cannot recommend...
